Harvesting doesn't make a lot in NEM.. Been harvesting for about a month with a decent balance and about 80% uptime and only got like 350 NEM in fees... Don't think I can make a very intersting offer at current prices. Can you share how much XEM I'm expected to gain from a month of harvesting with 10000? I'd understand if you can't You are likely to find maybe 1 block a week with that amount. Than it depends if the block is loaded with fees or not. I have gotten anything from 0 to around 30 NEM from a single block. Mostly 0 though. And a lot of 6 from the registrations etc.

XEM 4HR and Daily still under the Cloud; no signs of reversal whatsoever. I hope it falls all the way down to 1200 where I will buy in again =)

So if you are running a local NIS, it must have stopped running for some reason. If you use a remote NIS, you should choose another NIS to connect to.

If I just knew the price will go this low, I probably had dumped mine already. I can still salvage a profit since I have bought mine when the price was just $0.02. Will it dip to less than $0.10?

So if you are running a local NIS, it must have stopped running for some reason. If you use a remote NIS, you should choose another NIS to connect to. Thanks. Please tell me where to find another node. Answered my own question. Click Settings In the box labeled Host, replace “local host” with the IP address that you have obtained by running a node yourself, or an IP you have found on Node Explorer. Then press save. If you use "Node Explorer" you should use IP location of your country of origin for quicker connection. (Germany, U.S. United Kingdom for example). You should now see a green status bar at the top of your screen. This indicates that your NEM client is connected to a fully synchronized NEM node (NIS) and you are good to go! Hope this helps someone.

I read through FAQs about mining and/or investing in XEM and still confused. Is it possible to mine XEM, if not what is a sensible way to invest in XEM for a small investor?
It seems like from XEM faqs that you have to invest minimum of 10000 XEM to start harvesting, that equates to ~USD $1123 at current rates, not a small amount just to get started. Am I missing something here?

You can't mine XEM, you can harvest them if you have more than 10000 XEM. You can just buy and hold if you can't afford 10000 XEM
