hi everyone, i've heard that the release of catapult will be before the end of the year!! In a few days!!

Is this possibile? Since yesterday i believed that there is no date yet for catapult's release!

My understanding is Catapult may already be being tested with a few institutions that are using mijin. It won't be opened up for general use until sometime in 2018, depending on the mijin results.

You are correct.  Catapult (Mijin 2.0) is being used and tested by some substantial enterprises Smiley

Hi guys!

WeChat integrates virtual ID cards  To Replace Physical Cards in China

http://chinachristiandaily.com/2017-12-28/society/wechat-id-cards-to-replace-physical-cards-in-china-next-year_6565.html

I hope it will be done utilizing NEM blockchain  Shocked Shocked Shocked
If so we can join 100 bln marcet cup club!!

Seems you have got the news of NEM and WeChat wrong. WeChat does not directly cooperate with NEM. The integration of NEM payment option via WeChat messager is a third-party application. WeChat is not involved into the development at all.
This is very early news, but it is indeed a misunderstanding, you have to carefully read what "cooperation" what?

Do you have a valid source?
Could not find any information about such a high number of enterprises. I thought there are only a few bigger enterprises which are currently testing Catapult and Mijin.

I would like to realise some of my investment(original stakeholder). I intend going to the bank to let them know that I will be depositing a large sum. They will of course require proof that I acquired these funds honestly. What proof should I show them? What have you been doing to solve this problem?

Did you pay a nominal amount or get a free stake?

Dig out your original post registering yourself, the NXT or BTC payment if you did one, and show them the XEM wallet where the money lived. That'll be a complete trail. They won't understand any of it but it'll look impressive.

I have asked directly from bank and tax office. They said "all clear".

Nominal tax in Finland is only 34%. Sound's fair, doesn't it?

What is the effectiveness of the Dev Funds?
How much have their paid to projects and how many projects have been made to their goals?

I don't really keep track of them. There haven't been a huge amount so far. The most interesting recent one was the NEM library, a developer resource type thing, and in the end the people proposing it wound up being offered jobs with the NEM foundation instead.

Copyright bank and Luxtag were other ones that passed.

This is the forum concerning them - https://forum.nem.io/c/project-proposal

So the money still lays on the bottom of the deep fund Wink

Are the percentages still far from what mladen00 wrote Sep '15 :

"original plan was 25% to devs and 75% to stakeholders.

only fair plan"

It's mainly because NEM is still invisible and many of the proposals are unprofessional and shit.

There are quite a few projects that had nothing to with public funding from NEM. All projects combined are still a fraction of the stuff on ETH but hopefully that'll change as things gather pace.

I miss being part of Nem, haven't seen this thread in a long time. What's interesting the the use of "100% New Code" on the title. That made sense in 2014. But I like it, it brings back memories.

but its still true

"new" dont mean new released

it mean own developed and not a clone of something else

in that sense NEM is still "new"

even more than ever before once catault upgrade releases
