There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

I'd be dead surprised if they put much more development into anything for NIS.

The best times of NEM behind. A lot of strong competitors have appeared.

I'll be interested to see how it acts if/when there's a generalised alt pump. I'm going to give it to the end of the year to see if there are any signs of life. It's not looking good but things can turn on a dime. But that in itself is frustrating and depressing. After all this time it's still picked up and dropped again. It's gained effectively zero traction. If nothing much happens it may be time to stick a fork in it.

People selling it month after month, so it is pretty much game over. On Polo there’s like 25 BTC in buy orders and like 1300 in sell orders.

It's 25 BTC vs 184 BTC. And Poloniex is not very relevant any more. Still, not sexy but many others are not sexy either. Stellar's order book is 32/374

Hello. I downloaded the NEM wallet, after many years, and I want to log in with my old account. But I don't see any options to import private key, or enter account address. The only options is to select wallet from local storage.

There's some documentation on how to import private key on the NEM forum: https://docs.nem.io/en/nanowallet

In saying that though, Nem is up 14% in the last 24hrs
