I had it for more then a week. but I buy a lot from them with 0 issues. So maybe a new buyer does not get one for a few orders. As an edit could lead to fraud, if your account was hacked and the order was put to a new address.

still nothing come on bitmain give us an update I think it may take until the 14th to start shipping, and the closed sales is to get out the first generation and get some feedback before committing far larger batches. same goes for the chip, its possible the first three batches were an entire first run, with the second run of the working chip to be shortly and much larger. you dont want to commit 100% until you know its working 100%. You never know if customers will alert you to small issues like poor shipping survival, heatsink/thermal concerns, early-failing components, etc. Most of these are known and replicated from the S1 design, but i imagine they still have some changes that will get attention by users (such as the case/shroud for example - if its sharp people will complain, if its heavy or needs more/less heatsink they will get lots of feedback that they dont get on the test bench

I would love to think they are boxing them up, but be realistic. The "edit" button being gone just means they already printed the shipping labels.

If they are already mining with the gear then the Network speed will be unaffected as the devices are already currently contributing to the network difficulty regardless of who has them plugged in you or them. I would believe that the delay is more likely an issue of the devices need to have firmware changes after issues were observed in post production testing.

When the edit option has gone I suppose they have forwarded the information to their shipping team.
I am not sure when they will start shipping, though anywhere from today to the 14th seams a reasonable estimate.
I am sure there will be an update from bitmain once they started shipping though.

Hi guys, as far as you know, is possibile to buy s3 with wire transfer?
Why would you want to do that? Haven´t you seen that sending bitcoin is 100* easier then filling out a stupid wire transfer?

Totally agree with you, but i need to buy them for a company, and in italy for this kind of outgoings you need to pay it with wire transfer and have in hand an invoice to avoid problems with tax authorities.

Sent you a PM. but when I was looking at buying in volume back in Feb and using wire transfer the conversion price they were giving me in USD was really bad so it wasnt worth doing. that may be different now, but just FYI.
