Can someone please confirm the block time and current block reward for Nexus please.

Is the blocktime 150s cpu + 150s gpu = 300s blocks?

The opposite.  300s for GPU and 300s for CPU for an average of 150s.  You can think of it as 2 blocks per 300s.  Then nPOS is 60s, which brings down the overall block time significantly.

average blocktime is below 60 sec

in 300 sec there will be 7 blocks
5x POS
1x POW GPU channel
1x POW CPU channel

300/7= 42 sec blocktime

diff adjust engine most coins add 2-3 sec towards average times

still u can expect NEXUS be with below 50 sec average blocktime one of the fastest chains

DMD Diamond is 52 sec average

but most other bitcoin based coins are 60 sec 150 sec or as big daddy bitcoin himself slow 600 sec

I would like to announce my support for Nexus, one of the most promising coins I have seen in the whole cryptocurrency space for many and obvious reasons. Nexus is a real big deal and may very well become one of the leading cryptoccurrencies in the blockchain industry.

That said, I wish there was a bigger developpment team and proper marketing being done. Apparently, the team will likely grow as the whitepaper is published and everything is sorted out.

To be honest, I have discovered Nexus "by accident" and I feel a bit privilegied for having discovered it and I think that is true for most of us. Marketing will bring more people and therefore more possibilities to the project.

I am sure that with good marketing we would have been valued at around 25 to 30 million MarketCap already, above 10 million for sure.

As an investor I really would like to see a bit more being done on that regard, not that I am worried about the current valuation but I am sure it will be very beneficial on many levels.

Congrats Cheesy another crypto guy discovering Nexus and instantly falling in love with it. Think they are taking the right approach by not focusing on marketing but rather the tech. An easy to reach 20 mil market cap will bring nexus to +-$0.8...currently it's at $0.02 with a marketcap of $875,305....think the BOOM will come after the release of the v2 whitepaper...or at least I hope so. Until then I'll keep on scooping up cheap coins from all those fools dumping not knowing the story of Nexus & it's innovations.

defo the most undervalued.

just the lower database alone sets it miles apart from the rest in terms of usability and functionality in the long run.

this!

LLD and LLP could become a industry standard soon that is here invented at nexus

colin is genius of that kind that just recreate stuff when he see flaws in existing solutions

while for example at bitcoin the developers take the suboptimal basement of their platform as given and keep building on top of it

colin fix the flaws bottom up and then add improvements on top

this allow us all to have with nexus one of the most advanced coins ever in hands

its nearly cheating to get invested and gather NXS that cheap as it is traded now

2 mining questions:

1) Why is everything listed under balance and nothing under stake in my wallet? http://imgur.com/a/LWMIc

2) I am CPU pool mining. Have a Intel Core i7.  Am getting about 2 NXS every 11 hours.  Is this normal?

Thanks...

1080 was the worst purchase
Only ~93Mh, like a more cheaper 1070
I have a little bit above 110mh/s with the skminer 0.1 on GTX 1080 (not the mumus one, the original one):

Doesn't really matter. The Nvidia miners aren't really optimized for the newer cards, and were barely for the older cards.

Just for those not on slack (you should join tho.)

"I'm working on our letter of intent for VECTOR and NEXUS at the moment, just about ready to sign and wrap the deal into a beautiful PR campaign to the outside world having Nexus technology power the new way of computing and the Internet, space" Colin Cantrell.

Still time for people to get in at low prices.

To quote mirrax "nexus is potential life-changer investment"

hi guys,

I would like to ask a question about mining - I have run wolf0 miner for AMD (solo with local wallet) at rig with 6 x RX 480 cards. I see from time to time that the miner discover SHARE but not BLOCK which is strange for me.

Is it okey?

Also how often could I expect to find a block (every card makes about 58MH/s * 6 cards)?

Thanks,
