No merchant/Retailer is ever going to accept anon coins.
Well FU. We heard this bullshit 100000000000000 times already.
F everybody who dont accept privacy.
F every merchant who wont accept anon coins.

</rant>

- Your argument is bullshit: with finishing of DarkWallet, Bitcoin will also have optional full privacy and be an "anon coin". You think merchants/payment processors gonna delist Bitcoin?

- Your argument is bullshit: alot of Darknet merchants gonna accept anon coins.
(-:
(Some clearnet merchants that need privacy, obvious too.)

Um yes, it has lost its ASIC resistance.. is it dead? No.
Can you use the word 'officially'? Obviously you can.
Does it have any meaning when you use it? No it does not.

But it can be said that Litecoin is 'officially dying', because developers officially refuse to innovate or even copy other coins' features into Litecoin claiming Litecoin is subservient to Bitcoin, so it will not implement anything that makes it better than its Master.

The universe is set up in a such a way that if you're not progressing relative to others, then you're regressing relative to those who are progressing. Regressing is another way to say 'dying'. 'Dying' is a process, it can go on a long time though.

the only real thing a meaningful coin can offer is a payment gateway so business can actually use the coin for what it is meant for buying and selling

btc has bitpay

unsure of how many coins have payment gateways, it would be good to know

Wat? POW coins?

Please my OP, delete more postings of people defending Litecoin. We dont need these crooked inputs.

Lots of alts have payment processing, at eg. https://coinpayments.net/ or https://moolah.io/.

Yeah, payment processing is a good thing, but the best payment processors are those that:

1) offer different ecommerce plugins to easily integrate pricing into the website when you have hundreds of products listed (magento plugin, etc);
2) offer withdrawals in fiat currencies, because that's what most merchants want.

among payment processors for altcoins that offer both of these options GoCoin.com seems to be the leader at this time, it has both features.

facebook is the #1 social website on the internet. you can create a new better version of facebook.com along with "new" "innovative" shiny features. But that doesnt make your website #1... sorry. Google tried that with google plus but it did not work. you guys who think/talk about other "innovative" coins will cause LTC dead have no idea about what marketing is...

btw OP is deleting the posts which he doesnt like... he is a troll.

Litecoin whales have slowly been cashing out of LTC and moving into other coins. It's a dying coin...I'm very dissapointed with the devs of Litecoin, they havent even changed a single thing about it since it was released years ago..
