There is still a big difference between litecoin's capitalization and the next coin below it. If it does fall from second place, it will take a long time.

It would be interesting to see if merged-mining gives life to Doge or both LTC-Doge sink together.

One thing certainly is dying: trolling. There used to be quality trolls around but nowadays those cheap Indian trolls are no match to the old professionals. I suppose the budget cuts have effect at every occupation. You get what you pay.

Trolling is being outsourced now too, lol.

Litecoin offers nothing over  Bitcoin, thus it is irrelevant, and the market has decided its death. Down from $40 to $5, and going down 3% every day.

The once first altcoin, its just another altcoin.

It´s quite ridicolous that still holds that very big second market cap.

Yeah they'll make a new coin called Doge-Lite, or Dolegitecoin, or DogLeitecoin, or maybe Dogecoin-Lite edition, DogeLiteBucks

Litecoin holders don't control anything. Miners are the ones who are in control in PoW cryptos.

I think even the idea that Litecoin should be improved is offensive to Litecoiners. Maybe their logic is: "we got this far doing nothing, it would be wrong to mess with a good thing!".

That is exactly what most of them seem to think.

There are like one or two people in the Litecoin community trying to actually get something going. But no one seems to care unfortunately. Sad
