Im no longer worried about aero, the price didnt fall like i thought it would. Someone is controlling the price..I did pick up 3 thousand aero for 2.8k on cryptsy. What a steal.
Was never worried. Still here btw, just been extremely quiet. Been doing some travelling and catching up with friends. And the whole time just waiting and peeking from time to time. Hope you're doing well!

So...Mr. nFox, are you saying i might have a problem moving all those coins in the future? Im certainly not against updating to the new wallet (planned on that for the last few weeks anyway) but simply have not gotten around to do it yet.

Any suggestions guys?
The new Windows wallet doesn't work. It won't go past block 113559. The status bar at the bottom of mine sometimes reports 1 block behind and sometimes like 300 or 400. I've deleted the whole thing and reinstalled a couple of times and it just keeps doing the same thing. The current block is actualy 114530 per http://aero.blockexplorer.cc/chain/AeroCoinI think we have to wait for another update from the dev.

Update,
This is a Mandatory upgrade to the Aero Wallet, Just to make it clear you should install the new Aero wallet (Aero-QT Win-Fix https://mega.co.nz/#!VoMAwBTS!TiQLAdo2YoqnPG4MDDy71gJfaXkPY3mmFmVEPYIDNfQ)
You must shut down your old wallet. Also please delete the old wallet (keep wallet.dat). Download and install the new wallet. Then finally Resync your new wallet.
This is how we fix the situation in the fastest possible way!
Thank you, Majika

Thank you, Majika Idol, that's exactly what I've done. So, first I didn't have any problem. Then, I saw this post saying that it is a mandatory update. So, I did exactly what is mentionned there and it doesn't work. Don't worry. What you've described is to be expected. The old blockchain gotta die before your wallet can sync correctly.

Aero Community,
Before I begin I would just like to emphasize one again, I am trying every conceivable option which is available to us to help get Aero back up and running. Furthermore, I am doing my best to reduce any fallout caused but our fixes, by fallout i mean *potential* lost coins on the blockchain.
Once again, I am calling for a little more of the Aero community's time to help determine, from your own perspectives the following information:
I would like to know from users how have transactions which have not turned up to clarify their stuck transactions: 1) The TXID, 2) Search for the TXID on the explorer, if it is there, then that means you are on the same chain as the Block Explorer. If the TXID is not there then you are on a different chain 3) check the block height matches the Explorer
but one thing we do know for sure is that the Explorer and Seed nodes are not on the same chain which make things really difficult to diagnose...
So the majority of the community who are on the correct chain would identify the correct chain which we can code our fix for. We made the assumption to use information from the Seednodes in the last wallet update because of the amount of wallet that were connected to is and fully in sync..
Now we are trying a different method. All this is aimed at reducing the chances of users loosing coins.
Again, I thank you for your continued patience and support,
Majika.
P.S. Paste your TX here or PM me in IRC (for privacy).. Make a shared google doc and paste in there or whatever.. so long as its available for cross reference by myself.
