Shit, I was trying to make a remake of Wonderboy in Wonderland Monsterland  Undecided a while back for android and I had the full map.

Let me look for it......

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wonder_Boy_in_Monster_Land

EDIT: Yeap, probably Monkey Island.....

mirth is correct the art style is wrong for monkey island. it looks older yet the background is huge (for an old game) even if its fixed.

Here's what I got:

EDIT: I don't see any similar patterns  Undecided

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

Well for the f^%^ of it, just renamed extension to .bmp / .jpg / .mp3 / .avi / .mov ---> Got nothing.

I guess source file is a legitimate 7Z file, if it asks for a password.

Just thought I'd check anyways.

Edit : And the dark stripe above 2 fighters looks like closed {sealed} lips. And the 2 bumps looks like breasts, but it might just be my horney side talking.

Has anyone got any good tips for testing a lot of different passwords on the .7z file without having to reopen each time?

It's a bit annoying with winrar giving a corrupt file error message every time i enter a wrong password.

from here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eY2gK1MPgh8

I ruled out all of them, even "Defender of the Crown" which looked promissing.

I have to go now, but there are more 100 <Platform> games in 10 minutes videos, maybe one of them helps to find the a fitting game.

Edit: one more thing

The area I've marked in the image, doesn't it seem to be lighter?
https://i.imgur.com/M4d8jBP.jpg

It's more clearly visible if you change the hue of the image, like this:

Yes, I have noticed that too

EDIT, there is also a small line in there which is even brighter.

Actually the first part of the brighter part.....

I agree. I wonder if it indicates that some folding happened, or that a phase shift of some sort would be useful.

A couple other things:
- if you decompose into CYMK, the cyan channel is almost completely dark. that seems odd, so I wonder if that's an artifact of how the image was created and might give PS jocks a better way to approach breaking it up
- if you decompose into RGB, the blue channel has the sterogram-looking stuff but none of the other artwork/character artifacts, it's sort of a blank slate. I was trying to subtract it from other parts of the image but couldn't sort out anything terribly useful.

Why only use the left hand side of the image? Right hand bottom, has something, that looks like something was written in freehand?

Or am I starting to imagine things that are not there?

Like a Artist Signature? If it was, it could lead us to the picture.

Hello to all, again.

Anyone else tried to encrypt some stuff with blowfish?

"THEYCANNOTATTACKWHATTHEYDONOTSEE" x "Bit Sha" = 29d9a190f6fb0faa
"THEYCANNOTATTACKWHATTHEYDONOTSEE" x "BitSha" = 7c0b0c0f4940eac2

Tried this too:

"THEY CANNOT ATTACK WHAT THEY DO NOT SEE" x "Bit Sha" = a07b10d703b956c5
"THEY CANNOT ATTACK WHAT THEY DO NOT SEE" x "BitSha" = b89a126e255985bd

In CBC mode. No matches.

Also there is a peace of my long (and maybe wrong and maybe rules breaking) way result:

https://i.imgur.com/aFTnm1w.png

Now when I wrote this text I see an error in steps what I do when doing this, so I have an question and do not know. If result can be applied as an answer for archive is this breaking rules? All image generation process (except recognition and pattern generation) has been automated.

Stuck on this.

So, I messed about a bit more.
Does anyone else notice the squares?

4 of them going to the left
5 going down.

20 squares......

EDIT: In almost perfect alignment.....

EDIT 2: I have converted it to CMYK (so that I have better control of color levels)
And I have adjusted the color levels.

Can you guys see the squares?

The more I look at this image the more I think of the old 'fold and decode' style messages you used to get in Cracked magazine. Where you folded an image at three points and it showed an entirely different image.

That's likely a dead end here. Unless someone can come up with a way to align the dots from the first image, or the unknown dots from the enderman overlay.

I agree that it looks like two characters swordfighting. After doing some googling on sword and shield in video games here is a list of games that probably AREN'T those figures:

The artwork looks naggingly familiar to me as something I played on the C64 in the days of yore (really dating myself here), but I can't quite place it.

I wonder if the figures go along with the background image in some way?
