I see there is a good potential in this coin but there is no value to it now for some reason
Awaiting an update from our Trusted Dev Eurbids is all. Everyone is waiting for the updates. Really ? and why ? Last release are expired ? Don't drink it, maybe you take something bad. out of curiosity, what is going on? I dont think its unreasonable for people to ask about your progress on the project they are supporting. Im just going to come straight out and ask this. Are you done with the blockchain for Kore 2.0? Are you already working on the tech for Kore 3.0? and here is the kicker, i dont really want to know the answer but the last response made me decide to ask this in public. do you care about what happens to kore 2.0 while working on the new evolution? saying that I also want to thank you for all that you produce over the last months of korecoin, things you did have revolutionized ideas about what a blockchain is supposed to do. Hats off to you for that, but could you supply everyone here waiting for direction on what your plans are?

To be clear: Best to do a clean install of the KoreCoin wallet (in other words, with clean folders, nothing in them, of course, saving a copy of your previous wallet.dat first), then: place the korecoin-qt.exe in the clean folder, along with your previous wallet.dat file, in the correct place (data folder where it previous resided), then run korecoin-qt.exe and let it download the blockchain from the start. Other than that, if the issue persists, I'd recommend asking Eurbids to investigate. Always keep a backup copy of your wallet.dat file.

Morning everyone.
Mike, what you have done here is simply amazing.
I cant wait to be able to use your os on a smart phone, and now that I can see just how close you have gotten to releasing it, I am becoming increasingly thrilled by the possibilities.
phone airtime is more than just a telcom business, it is the gateway for people to invest in the crypto community without the legalities of using exchanges, and without the stigmas of trying to get into crypto as a whole. throughout the world a minute of airtime has real worth, and can be traded with other users as a commodity without taxation on its increased or decreased value, also everyone in the world understands its value. you dont have to go further than looking at Kenya and how its people disconnected from the banking system baegan to use phone minuted as the backbone of their trade, which created Mpesa, one of the largest mobile payment systems there is.
I know i have been increasingly critical of Eurbids over the past few weeks, but lets face it the only thing holding Korephone back is the lack of communication from the Korecoin dev. That being said I think MikeMike and the kore team are here and they are the ones holding this community together. Whatever direction you guys decide to take from here on in I am with you, and cant wait to be a part of the Korephone Revolution!!!!

just a little post to help those who dont understand the financial importance of telecom within the banking sector
Mpesa has done more for allowing those untied to bank accounts to create a means for capital transfer than bitcoin ever has.
from wikipedia History
In 2002, researchers at Gamos and the Commonwealth Telecommunications Organisation, funded by Department for International Development UK (DFID), documented that in Uganda, Botswana and Ghana, people were spontaneously using airtime as a proxy for money transfer.[3] Africans were transferring airtime to their relatives or friends who were then using it or reselling it. Gamos researchers approached MCel [4] in Mozambique, and in 2004 MCel introduced the first authorised airtime credit swapping – a precursor step towards M-Pesa.[5] The idea was discussed by the Commission for Africa[6] and DFID introduced the researchers to Vodafone who had been discussing supporting microfinance and back office banking with Mobile phones. S Batchelor (Gamos) and N Hughes (Vodafone CSR) discussed how a system of money transfer could be created in Kenya. DFID amended the terms of reference for its grant to Vodafone, and piloting began in 2005. In April 2007, following a student software development project from Kenya,[7] Safaricom launched a new mobile phone based payment and money transfer service, known as M-Pesa.[8] The service allows users to deposit money into an account stored on their cell phones, to send balances using SMS technology to other users, including sellers of goods and services, and to redeem deposits for regular money. Users are charged a small fee for sending and withdrawing money using the service.[9] M-Pesa has spread quickly, and by 2010 had become the most successful mobile phone based financial service in the developing world.[8] By 2012, a stock of about 17 million M-Pesa accounts had been registered in Kenya.[1]
The initial work of developing the product was given to a product and technology development company[10] known as Sagentia. Development and second line support responsibilities were transferred to IBM in September 2009, where most of the original Sagentia team transferred to.

Just needs some time is all for some blocks to go through. It's kind of on a rotational basis. Between blocks going by quickly and then to slowly.

just close the wallet and open it again after 1-2 minutes it just stucks when it starts staking Yes, I know… but that's not the problem The problem is with the blockchain, no blocks since 19:33:16 but as you can see on: http://explorer.korecoin.org/chain/KoreCoin there hasn't been blocks since 13:00h to 19:00h, so… i don't know. We'll have to wait for a confirmed block? On bittrex wallets are "delayed" too

Just keep your wallets open and staking. EDIT: OK a block went through # 361538 Notice the payout amount is the same as if staking entire time. The more wallets staking the better so support the Kore Network and stake some coins.
