I guess I do not really think that the learning curve is that big but I still rather play at fairlay because I trust them more?
I know that dex and dapp and so forth type of decentralized gambling needs to be decentralized which is why there is no trust required at all but I do not trust the code of it, that is the problem, normally if the code is perfect without a problem there should be no need for me to trust anyone and can just gamble there, but I feel like there has been too many hacked or scammed or whatever defi projects so I do not think that degens could be perfect neither, and I am trying to be more careful about it. Whereas I know fairlay and I know nitrogen and I know other places like that, so I just gamble there and I feel a lot more at ease with myself gambling here.

yes those onchain markets were a great idea when gas fees were nothing but now that they are sky high, onchain betting is dead or at least paused

fairlay graded the election bets and said if the decision is reversed they will grade them again
I believe they just like all other books want to get those funds back in the betting market

It's also a very small amount of btc so I thought perhaps there's something wrong with the automated largest-settlement reserving process or something. Since it's on hold I can't do any betting, transfer, exchange or withdraw. A couple of weeks ago the site was offline for a few hours also without any notice to be found in the site prior to going offline so it's a little bit surprising for a site that's been operating in the last 7-8 years to have such issues in relatively short amount of time. |

I wanted to check here first if there's something wrong with the site in general since recently I saw a couple of tweets that mention problems with the site without going into details. Anyways, I'll contact support then. Edit: Apperantly the site's been under attack and some services are not working including my balance update issue. They can't give any ETA for things going back to normal since almost all of their technical staff is on holiday. |

Damn. Did hackers steal funds successfully or something? I tried accessing the site and it loaded up fine, but the message about the attack was displayed on top. Horrible time for an attack. I was planning on betting on the Biden-Trump winner bet, but that might be risky considering current conditions. I hope they restore all services asap. |
