I have three questions:
1. Have you thought about offering the option to secure your Fairlay account using Google 2FA or Yubikey? I know you have several other options to enhance account security, but they are too restrictive in my opinion (e.g. I like to take advantage of using various BTC addresses and therefore do not want to lock in a fixed withdrawal address).
2. I saw a screenshot on a reddit post of your FairlayOfficial account with a preview for the new site design. This was roughly 2 months ago and still has not been activated. I know you have been busy with the whole Bitcoin Cash chainsplit and so on, but do you have any new timeline when we can expect the redesign of Fairlay?
3. I know that you will make Bitcoin Cash balances available. But how are your long-term plans for BCC/BCH? Will you allow users to deposit Bitcoin Cash or place predictions with it? I´m really curious to know how you view the recent events.
1. 2FA is not secure. The only absolute secure way to access your account is by using the API and signing every request with your private key. Our users lost less than 1000 USD to account hacks in the last 3 years. And most of the cases would have happened with 2FA anyway. If that number will increase in the future we will implement Google 2FA. 2. We will release the new site this week. Also BCH withdrawals are ready for release and will follow later this week. BCH deposits and a BTC/BCH spot market is already implemented and only requires some final tests. It will will be available within the next 2 weeks. EDIT: We still discovered some minor things that need to be fixed. BCH withdrawals won't be available before Monday the 28th. 3. Although we do not approve the Bitcoin Core development team anymore, we will only support prediction markets in BTC until November. After the 2x hard fork we will reconsider the market situation. If somehow feasible, we'd like to get rid of the current Core development team.

I'm attempting to make a deposit and receiving the following error: "We got an error report and will fix this bug as soon as possible." This was 24 hrs ago. I've already contacted support, but haven't got a response.

I've got a small short position on Ethereum (cost basis of 79) which is currently in profit. I am wondering how do I close part of it?
When I type anything into Amount - it turns it into zero. I do have 0 mbtc available, but I should be able to close my position, right?
Using Firefox 54.0.1 on Windows 8.1.
You need a few mBTC available unfortunately right now. You will be able to close your position without available balance on hte new site till the end of the month.

Great to hear that the new site will finally be released I tend to agree with your sentiment regarding the Core development team. However, it is not really clear, whether the 2x hard fork will actually happen at all. The signatories of the New York Agreement could still decide to shift their support to BCH or to abandon the hard fork plans. But this is all speculation for now, I will wait until you have reconsidered the situation in November.

I assume you will take a commission on sports with the launch of the new site? What % will it be?

Then you are rich. Not sure if that makes any sense. These sig spammers and their trash talking are driving me crazy. Fairlay.com, do you have an affiliate program? I didn't see one when I last checked your site.

How could we best structure a bet regarding BitConnect? I want to bet that they will stop paying out capital and interest to "lenders" who are "investing" in the site and currently getting around 1%/day. They claim to have a highly profitable trading bot, and are currently ranked #14 on CoinMarketCap with a $1 billion market cap.
The challenge is we need a reliable source for whether they are paying out. You could have a bet on whether the website is operating, or whether BitConnect Coin is worth greater than $1 and if BitConnect Coin is still trading.
The goal of this bet is primarily to expose them for running a ponzi, and secondarily to make me money.

Interesting. The trading price of the coin would be a good indicator but could be manipulated. Their website doesn't necessarily have to go offline if they are proven to be a Ponzi. In fact many ponzies operate their sites long after discovered because many more people fall for the scam. So not sure how you can set a trustable source of information. The coin price would be more trustable, given a proper time it must be traded below $1 is set, for example.

I'm guessing I'd want "Either the coin trades below $1 or the coin is trading less than x volume". In case it stops trading. It's possible that the exchanges are smart enough to ignore it as goodness knows what regulatory risk they'd be taking. But if BitConnect is the only source for trading data, I don't trust them. Hmm, it appears to trade at several markets which I've never heard of: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitconnect/#marketsOne idea is if we had an independent trustworthy person "invest" a very small amount. Though BitConnect could game that as well.

Commission will stay at 0% for now. Our affiliate program is still disabled. We will make an announcement if we should reenable it. We hope there is no other request we missed! It's an excellent idea to use Fairlay to expose scams and fake news. It's quite sad that so many scams still attract a lot of money and that popular sites like coinmarketcap are showing their ads.

Yeah sure, well if you placed 10 bets lifetime it is possible. But you will end up losing in the long term (99% do). I recommend using Fairlay for short term success. If you start with 1 BTC, be happy that you won 0.2 and withdraw, that is my advice.
