By the way Mr Fairlay, I put in a withdrawal request around 10 hours ago.
If the site is down I have to bet elsewhere in the early soccer matches.
Can I have it sent in the next hour please?
Thanks
Tony

Sorry for the trouble to all of you.

@TonyQ - I just emailed you - but I figured out that I don't need the information I asked for - I will just proceed your cash out manually now.

We will give a full update in the next 30 minutes.

Ok - so here is the full story.

One of our security checks discovered that the balance of all user + the amount in open bets began to differ from the Bitcoin that we hold in the hot and cold wallet combined. This security check automatically halted all withdrawals. We than figured out that it was possible under specific circumstances to cancel a bet twice - so that the cancelled amount was credited twice.

We fixed this problem and we are currently testing the fix and we will be back in around 12h.

If you very urgently need your Bitcoins before that you can write an email at info@fairlay.com and we try to handle it manually.

We are looking forward to be back better as ever soon!

Some of the next features will be:

1. more sports (wished are welcome)
2. an easy and automatically paying affiliate system.

We are currently doing some final tests. If they all pass well we should be online again in the next 2 hours.

P.S. We have proceeded meanwhile all pending cash-outs. Again - sorry for the delay.

Hurry back.....I'm missing you badly.

Thanks for the support. However, the tests did not pass. The fix we have done solved the initial problem but caused new ones so we need to continue to work on it. If anyone is interested in the technical details, out problem is pretty similar to what is described here: http://josipfranjkovic.blogspot.com/2015/04/race-conditions-on-facebook.html

Our best guess currently is that we are back online tomorrow. (in about 20h)

Once again - we can proceed cash outs manually. If you want to cash out please get in contact with us at info@fairlay.com

Still Maintenance mode...?  Undecided

While the initial problem is fixed we discovered more problems that have a similar reason. We currently think that we can be back tomorrow but our predictions have not been too good the last days... So it may take until the weekend.

Again - we can proceed cash outs on request.

looks like fairlay is not coming back...

they don't even care anymore to keep their customers posted here or elsewhere.

Technical problems in a beta stadium are understandable, but not giving information about progress in dealing with them is not.

If they decided to end the project, then the least they could do is anouncing that decision instead of keeping people guessing for days.

glad i withdrew the majority of my funds before all this happened, although the odds were slightly better, the format of the site made it a headache to use.

i don´t think that they are scammers - they will pay out all funds  Wink
I´d rather guess that they haven´t met their expectations (not enough turnover, no income due to commission-free sportsbets) and
therefore aren´t coming back as fast as announced.

However I wouldn´t be surprised if they will come back and prove all of you wrong.

They posted this on the sportsbook rating thread yesterday:

What's the objective feeling about Fairlay?

We wish we could give you more information. We are still having problems with a certain bug and we don't want to run the site with a known bug.
We first had the problem that a user could cancel a bet twice due to a specific so called "race condition". Know our fix lead to the bug that in some cases a user can not cancel an open bet at all. We might need to do a bigger refactoring of our code.

However - we strongly want to emphasize that cash outs are possible with no limitations. Just send us an email from the email address you used for fairlay.com
