This Coin Dev is Bytecoin Dev ?
Bytecoin =Dashcoin ?
No, we have no relation with Bytecoin's devs. Dashcoin a 1:1 Bytecoin copy. It probably stay as such unless Dashcoin becomes so big we can afford full time developers better than Bytecoin's.
Bytecoin is launched within small set of people (mostly related to devs computer specialists). Dashcoin has an open launch - it is for everyone.

The reason we made Dashcoin is because:
1. Currently all clones of Bytecoin have huge difficulty of maintaining their base code.
2. The leader's strategy is based on creating negative image of everyone else. This does not talk good about the leader. Not telling their community don't do good things also.

hi, dev, is the GUI wallet coming out??
The GUI wallet will be made 3rd party. Currently I have knowledge that Minergate's owner is willing to make one, no timeframe about that. GUIs wallets and web wallets are huge niche and 3rd parties should realise that.
Also Bytecoin maybe will integrate GUI in their core code soon. We are preparing for a move like that.
By looking at the other coins' GUI, it's not a big disadvantage that we don't have one. Their GUIs start the daemon and simplewallet, which should not happen in a production version of a GUI.

As I said in the exchange's thread over here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=764158, prices did fluctuate a lot during the short closed beta before release.  I can remove these from the market history to make the graphs look better if wanted.  Thoughts?

Hi,
Within 24 hours all not passed transactions have to be back in your wallet. You don't have the last wallet version if you don't have the reset command. If you have the last version you can see your transfers with 'list_transfers'. You can find the download link in the first post of this thread.
0 is the max mix-in. To send bigger amounts use something smaller - 3 for example. With 1 you can send the largest amount.
PM me if you still have problem or questions

Thank you. It seems to work. I've migrated the most to a consolidated input wallet so quick large volume transactions are now possible. However, some transactions still seem to fall through the cracks even if at a much lower rate. Doesn't matter if they come back to me, but still annoying. Also, the wallet seems to save itself (100MB+ in my case) after each transaction, making it very annoying as well. Hope to see some positive changes in that regard soon.

Is DSH affected by the recent bug discovered in the cryptonote code? XMR has been recently attacked due to this vulnerability, and it seems to be common to all cryptonote coins.

Any words from the developers about this?
I would expect so, but doubt dash is big enough to be considered for an attack.
Either way dev should come out with a statement or a fix to prevent such a thing.

I am currently building with the fix Bytecoin came out. We'll have the binaries in a few hours.

New binaries:
Dashcoin Windows     (Get started)
Dashcoin Linux          (Get started)
Dashcoin Mac            (Get started)

The bug allowed XMR to be attacked is fixed in those.

Also, the pool owners running cryptonote-universal-pool now have option for donation to Dashcoin's devs. All you need to do is update to latest pool version and change the value of "coreDevDonation". The option works not only for Dashcoin, but for almost all Cryptonote currencies.

All Cryptonote coins had a bug, that made them vulnerable to attack. It is fixed, you must update to the latest binaries. We were not under attack (we are still a small coin), but do it as precaution.
Unless you have something else in mind.
