I've just installed the new qt-wallet (version 1.1.1.3, 64bit) and realized the pulsating icon for minting is missing from the status bar.

However, when I place my mouse over the empty space I get the proper info but the icon itself is missing.

Anyone else having this glitch?

Thought it was just me, and back a few updates too I'm not yet on the latest wallet. Ubuntu, by any chance?

I remember people mentioning it moooonths ago when updating to Qt5. I'd totally forgot and I'm not using Qt5, so it's a bit hard to debug.

Can you answer these three questions (or the ones you can):

Are you seeing the rotating "syncing from network" icon ?

Are there errors or messages in the debug log that appear like they could be related ?

If you overwrite the mining icon file (src/qt/res/movies/minng.mng) with the spinning syncing icon (src/qt/res/movies/update_spinner.mng), does it show the syncing icon where the mining one should be ?

I don't see an error. did it finish compiling? Those are just warnings where the code does something the compiler don't expect.

Yep I think this is normal. Continue on with "./configure --with-incompatible-bdb" and then "make"

The icon animation has been fixed. This has actually always been a problem when building with qt5, and iDunk was able to sort it out for us. Updated 64 bit bin here https://github.com/hyperstake/HyperStake/releases/tag/v1.1.1.3

Yep, the icon is now flashing as it should be.

Either install hexdump, or add a # character at the start of the line that mentions hexdump in configure.ac (if you do this, you will need to run ./autogen.sh before running configure again). You should not actually need hexdump down the line, so bypassing it here is fine, I think.

I would install it, and I'd also install boost 1.55. NOT 1.54, it has issues.
