Glad to hear thanks for reporting back.
My wallet v1.1.3 crashed to 65000 blocks, I must add nodes?

Just installed v1.1.3 went with 1,2,3 connected, now there are no connections, so there is no sync.
The nodes list Knew! But the wallet update is required? Thanks!

Hi presstab,
while I like your explorer page, the "Annulized Stake Rate" chart is quite misleading. The chart assumes an average stake rate of 200%. But that is not the case. The average stake rate is currently less than 60% only.
Calculation:
current supply: 583,306,124 HYP
blocks/year: 960 * 365 = 350,400
Assuming each block gets the max 1000 HYP, we will mine  350,400,000 HYP per year.

100 * 350,400,000 HYP / 583,306,124 HYP = 60,07%

Not each block will mine 1000 HYP, so the real percentage is even lower.
While the supply is increasing and the yield is fixed, the percentage will go down a bit each day.

It would be great, if you may present a chart with such data.

Thanks

You are confusing 'stake rate' and the 'coin supply inflation rate'. Two totally different things. But I will see if I can add an inflation chart as well.

Have you followed the intructions of the op ?
(You don't need nodes for bootstrapping.)

Quote
Nodes - http://www.presstab.pw/phpexplorer/HYP/nodes.php

Syncing Notice: When syncing the chain, the client can get stuck occasionally and need to be restarted in order to continue syncing. Please consider using the bootstrap for the quickest sync.

Block Chain Bootstrap
Bootstrap file updated every hour - http://hyperstrap.ml/
Usage: extract bootstrap.dat into data directory (for Windows go to "run" and type in %appdata% and find HyperStake folder), remove blkindex.dat and blk0001.dat. When you fire up your QT wallet, it will automatically detect the bootstrap and begin to work. Bootstrapping may take an hour or two depending on the machine, please be patient, the bootstrap happens from the splashscreen, and clicking on it while bootstrapping may cause it to quit. Please note that it is common for the bootstrap to load 90k or so blocks at a time and jump out of bootstrap mode (fixed in v1.1.3). If you client does this, simply turn it off. Go back to your datadir and rename bootstrap.dat.old to bootstrap.dat and restart your client, it will pick up where it left off.
If you are using the daemon you will need to enter the following startup switch: ./hyperstaked -loadblock=bootstrap.dat

Smooth running also on my end.
No issues bootstrapping, although it took 16 hrs.

P.s.Windows users don't like daemons or ghosts in their machines it causes too much stress ending in severe paranoid mental state.

See Trololoh's quote from the OP. Grab the latest bootstrap and it will catch you up. If you have a hard time getting nodes, then use the long list of nodes from the link provided.

Follow the instructions here:

New release v1.1.3 is out.

https://github.com/hyperstake/HyperStake/releases/tag/v1.1.3
Warning that this will require a resyncing of the blockchain.

1. Backup your wallet.dat to a secure location.

2. Delete the following from the datadirectory:
- database folder
- blkindex.dat

3. Rename blk0001.dat to bootstrap.dat

4. Restart the new HyperStake client and wait for the bootstrap process to complete, this will likely take a few hours.

Changelog
    - allow spending of unconfirmed utxo's if they are your own
    - reduce QT resource consumption via requesting less updates
    - add block hash to blockindex to speed up bootup (WARNING requires resync)
    - optimize bootstrapping so that the client does not get hung up on orphans
    - speed up coin control dialog
    - close socket leaks

Wizards are cool...
Harry Potter, Merlin, and the one from Oz just to mention a few.

Meanwhile HYP is doing very well on Poly and is doing so for quite a while now.

so what is reason for such huge surge in price?

My theory is that it is the only high rate PoS coin that trades on Poloniex. There seems to be new money heading into PoS coins.

Just change your rpcport in the conf file. "rpcport=13654" for example.
