Hashforce101 is a foundation member because he (just like anyone else who wants to be a member) has made a small donation to the Nav Coin Foundation.

To be very clear, as much as Hashforce101 is a cheerleader of Nav Coin, he is not part of the development team and is definitely not a market maker (no offence intended Hashforce101). Please don't spend your time worrying over such things, there are much more productive discussions to have.

That said, all financial markets have speculators and manipulators, that is unfortunately a persistent part of trading any stocks and can be especially exploited in lower volume markets like cryptocurrencies.

Nav Coin has always been a good mid - long term investment for all its investors. All you need to prove it is to look back at our price history. My advice when investing in anything is to try and make investments based on strong fundamentals and long term trends. Trying to get rich over night is the best way to lose all your money, I know from personal experience. They call buying stocks going "long" for a reason, if everyone could get rich over night the terms would be the other way around.

Can someone explain something to me? I've reading this topic for a long time.

Nav followers and hypers claim that nav is a good coin, different from the others.

But I see a lot of manipulation in the market.

The user known as Hashforce says that he "leaves". The price drops heavily.

He posts "see you again on the 24th nov" (sorry i cannot find the post again, probably he deleted it. why? i noted the date as soon as i read it because i knew it would mean something).

Yesterday, 24th Nov, the prices starts to go up again.

How can I trust this project? I found nav a honest project, away from pumpers and speculation from the devs.

But I'm not sure now.

Can someone throw some light?

Yes there is manipulation on the market but every coin has manipulators.
Who just pump, to dump with gains.
I feel sad for real nav supporters who lost money on the last pump.
But this is a generally risk in cryptocurrency.

I can just tell you my opinion, that I trust the devs and I believe that NAV goes again over 10k sat.

NAV has an actual GUI.
NAV has an active development team not funded by any institution.
NAV's approach to anonymity is simple, fast and very easy to use (only one click on the QT)
NAV hasn't been hyped by paid press.

Zcash has 20% "tax". If you want Zcash's anon tech, then go with Zclassic.
Monero uses ring signatures.
And NAV uses a subchain for anon, dont waste much energy for mining because Proof-of-Stake and has a block time of 30 seconds.
Each of them uses his tech and you can decide.

Security... Monero for example is proof of work. Nav coin is proof of stake.

Over 50% of the monero mining is done by 3 parties. When they turn malicious it has a big negative effect on the security.
PoW relies on miners for security. Over time mining incentive declines due too high difficulty. Small miners have to group up in centralized pools to be able to mine. Bitcoin struggles with this, mining is getting more and more centralised in China.

Nav Coin proof of stake gives everyone the same ability to mine blocks using staking. No big mining rigs needed just coins staking away. It makes it more decentralized and secure long term in my opinion.

Hi guys,

I'm going to shift our weekly updates to the end of Tuesday New Zealand Time. This makes more sense because I work full time on NAV from Saturday - Tuesday, so I can squeeze a few more things into the update this way.
