@Colvano Am I right in thinking that these new NAV-accepting merchants have been recruited thanks to your own efforts?

Sorry, i don't understand the question? He is asking about a signature campaign. Not because he wants the bounty but just to promote the coin. So effectively he is asking for an official signature design There have been a few provided but are all lost within this 1000+ page thread. Perhaps you could provide some on the main page?

I hope you will not be offended if I flag up something which requires your all-too-obvious marketing expertise, specifically: https://www.orangewebsite.com/ORANGE is a company which claims to cherish web privacy. You will observe (top-right of their front page) that they accept BTC, and, for some strange reason, WDC!! But not NAV. Weird. Is this something that a man of your persuasive talents could rectify?

Does anyone know the difference between the Thin Wallet Installer and Portable and the Full Node download dmg for a mac. I just want a simple wallet to keep my Nav coins on.

Well I don't have a Mac(well an old powerPC macbook) but by the names this is what the main differences are: Thin you can store NAV here recieve and send it but you cannot stake(earn extra nav) since the complete blockchain is not stored it takes less hard drive space and so is 'thin' Portable is designed so all files can be stored on Thumb drive and can be run on any mac you plug the drive on. the regular this client writes data into the users space Full Node has the entire block chain as part of the install and keeps sync thin new blocks as they are confirmed. You can also stake you NAV which actually finds and creates new blocks (a lot like mining) How often you actually find a block depends on your Nav balance (and luck) The full node also has a console where you can get more detailed info like which other wallets are you connected to, what the current block is and many other things most people don't need or care about.

Many thanks for your detailed reply. I downloaded the thin wallet but it is stuck on block 575980 from 11 weeks ago. I looked at the Sync Issues page at Technical Support on the Nav website but the workaround is unclear. So i have to wait for a new version of the wallet to be able to download my coins from the exchange.

another alternative is a web wallet https://poswallet.com/ will work with NAV and it stakes. or you could try the full node and d/l the blockchain. I don't know if that helps at all on thin client. or if you're used to git d/l navcoin2 from github and follow the navcoin2/doc/build-osx.txt instructions.

Just use the full node zip version. But download the latest blockhain data too before you start it or it could take way too long to sync. How much nav do you have? To see if it's worth staking

Hello, i am very new to cryptocurrencies trading , i started the trade on Poloneix platform . i had 3 bitcoins changed them to Zcash which left me with big losses as the price of the zcach fall dramatically. then i switched to trade Navcoin , again this coin lost its value next day as i bought it .Now i have 30000 NAV coins . i cant even sell them . i am not sure that this coin can revitalize or even regain its value . How can assure me that i am not right and there is a chance for this coin to be worthy . please advise . many thanks in advance

You might want to read up on coins before you buy them. It reads like your very new to this there is a lot of information on Nav website where u can read about upcoming projects and what is being worked on at this time. You now come here while admitting that you are new and at the same time saying "i am not sure that this coin can revitalize or even regain its value". My advice to you is Read about the coins your about to buy do not just buy coins like Zcash or even Nav just because it looks green on the exchange. If you ask in here most will tell you there is a Bright future for nav but we own and hold nav so we have a vested interest like holders of competing coins would say the opposite there for all you can really do is Read about nav on their website and judge for yourself.

To see if it's worth staking Thanks for your help. So i downloaded the full node mac version and the latest blockchain. But it remains stuck on block 735406 and I can't get any connections. I have added active nodes too. So I've now taken mogrith's advise and transferred the coins (a few 1000) to poswallet. I'll see how that goes and transfer them to my mac when Nav brings out a new hassle and trouble free wallet. Cheers again!

"cant even sell" why? there's more than enough liquidity for your 30k nav's(1 bitcoin worth) "How can assure me that i am not right and there is a chance for this coin to be worthy" nobody can assure nothing. it's up to you decide. all i can say to you is: do some search before you buy anything. Zcash fall was easy to predict(way overbought+supply increasing) so why would you buy? you bought nav when bitcoin price was pumping. bad timing... still a great coin, but that's how the market works. sell or not, the decision is up to you. if you sell, just don't do the same you have being doing.... dont buy some random coin you dont even know.
