Official Announcement - Release of the New Navajo Coin BETA CLIENT - New Features, Improvements and Fixes



Dear Navajo Coin Community!

We are pleased to release new BETA CLIENT for Navajo Coin! It has improvements/fixes suggested by the Community in feedback and even more.
Please remember that this is the BETA CLIENT - It's a version for testing all the new features and giving us the feedback about it. After the Community's testing and checking if everything works perfectly - we will integrate all these features and improvements to the main wallet and release it for You
So please test all the new features and give us the feedback! We really appreciate it!

Here is the full list of the new improvements & fixes added to the client:

1) User can press enter to send message.
2) Log out button added to chat window.
3) “remember me” check box added to login window to save user name
4) Display time of post in the chat window
5) Posts are rate limited to 1 post per 3 seconds per user
6) Posts are limited to 300 characters
7) links posted in chat are now clickable and launch default web browser

Extra features, about which we didn't mention in our last announcement! :

8 ) If a new message arrives when you’re not looking at the chat tab, the speech bubble will become green
9) Private messaging between users has been added, double click on the user to open a chat with them
10) If a Private message arrives when you’re looking at a different chat tab, the tab text will change to red

Can i use this for staking my coins or it's just a test wallet?

Its the latest Beta test wallet and can NOT be used for staking.

After testing and if further bugs are identified and fixed including

Package quote" Currently known bugs which we've found from our testing:

Scroll bar is ugly, needs better styling.
"User has left chat" message, causing new tab to open up if other user has already closed it.
links not opening browser in Private Message window, but working in main Chat window.
encryption to be added for Private Messages for better privacy END

This will then  be implemented into a new working staking wallet most likely with Encrypted chat

Also remember Anon is still codeing . NavajoCoin has 5 seasoned coders and webdesigners and other talented people on the team!

It seems that things are going .. not as fast as I thought, but it's better than most coins!
I do have a question. A few days earlier I watched my address with transactions, but now when I want to see all transactions shown me "I'm sorry, this address has too many records to display."  (However, Is shown the correct amount in RichList ) Can you fix it?

this is a security setting inside ABE explorer. We had to set a maximum number of tranascation to be handled. Otherwise this yould be used to drive ddos or dos and kill the webserver. In the beginning I had set the value very high for testing purpose, but it came clear fastly, that this is to high in mem consumption.

I can take a look wether it is possible to set this a little higher, even we have 20 times the number of succested transaction to use! Later when NAV skyrockets and we can afford to host a server farm, this should be no problem anymore ;-)

I hope you appreciate this answer so long! Beside we are throwing every energy into deleveloping the new wallet and bringing new features like wallets for other systems! But you know it is not easy!
