Do you know how open source software works? You don't want every new idea to be written from scratch anyway, it would be bug city.

You get new, stable, software by starting with the existing, tested, debugged codebase and adding your own ideas into it after testing them against the existing code.

He even said he was influenced by another coin which he helped with, so this is clearly just FUD when it's brought up that he somehow "plagiarized" something.
