never give up. Matory pretty much says that the market sentiment sucks, nobody is buying or selling much, there isnt much of a community, and the info on the OP isnt updated. We already knew this. A competent team can still take over if theyd like to.

Just because the volume in the market sucks and nobody has control of the OP doesnt make much of a difference. Can always start a new thread. |

Just because the volume in the market sucks and nobody has control of the OP doesnt make much of a difference. Can always start a new thread. The only people who care about this coin or its future anymore are bag holders who held too long. Good luck getting any investors interested again. It's just not going to happen. There's no money to be made anymore, thus nobody cares. It's the nature of the industry. Many coins have tried to reboot, all have failed. There's just too many new coins out there, and too many new coins being born every day. Cut your losses while you still can, and move on. Don't waste anymore time or money on this. You got scammed. Everyone did. Some got out even, some made a profit, some lost, and some are still losing. |

I'm still holding the small amount i have. If the creators were scammers they wouldn't have kept coming back to the thread. I believe they are legitimate but unsure if they can deliver what they promised. If they come back tomorrow saying they have got it working as they would like etc etc they buy support will return . . time will tell

Yea its tough to cut our losses at this point. We cant even liquidate at these support levels. And who knows, the devs might come back..although highly doubful. Getting a competent team isnt that far-fetched. Members like cryptomembro will say whats teh point if they can make their own coin. Although I agree, but for what its worth, my point here is that at these low price levels, it would be of any teams interest to buy some up and take over the coin, because not only does it have a really promising name, but promising specs. |

Most sold after the last post from the dev: - Update -
Things did not work out well for our initial test runs over the weekend. But I don't like keeping people in the dark.
We are going to continue working on our technology but we clearly started this project too early. And it is unfortunate that some whales used our coin price as a personal play toy for their own gain. And we are getting blamed for that. We still hold our coins. Development takes time and we can't satisfy the whims of every entry price for people in this thread. The next time you see us will be when the tech is closer to finished. This might take up to another month. Our initial chats with our partner made it sound like this would go more smoothly but additional time is clearly needed.
If the community would like to take over as they keep suggesting, then we could reconvene at a later time to combine our features with whatever feature set the community here develops. But if what we develop seriously interferes with what the community here does then we will need to have a conversation about that. At that point it may need to be a different coin/fork.
Community tried to take over, but no one was dedicated enough to take the lead. Furthermore it's difficult to bring the coin forward without access to the op and the unclear situation about the development. I still hold a fair amount of shield and let it stake, just in case the dev comes back and presents us the SSL tec =) |

So I didn't want to believe that this was a scam back in its heyday (look up my post history - I defended the shit out of this coin against all the plagiarism FUD and whatnot), and it still may not be a scam outright, but I've recently been told by a very-well-informed friend about his experiences with RetroShare.
Basically RetroShare is technology that is billed as a privacy solution, but at its core its function and intention is to serve as a data tunnel directly to government data surveillance centers. My friend installed RetroShare on his computer and hours later it became very evident to him that his data was being tracked and that he was being spied on.
Who knows if the SHLD dev will come back or if he will manifest his plans, but if he comes up with anything based upon or associated with RetroShare, I would stay far far away from it.
