Bloody wallet is unsynced again!!! FFS

Stuck on block 10594, im sick of this. Its total luck of the draw to get it synced again it takes ages of opening and closing and redownloading. Why?Huh  Ive never had this issue with POS before  Sad

What I did is backup my wallet.bat and delete everything then install new wallet. Do not copy your backup wallet.bat to the new installed wallet yet, wait until it completed sync then copy your wallet.bat to it. If it stuck during syncing just open and close wallet method. What I found if the wallet is out of syn then it will never be sync again. it see the block OK but can't download it, the connection and download keep kick it out. Hope this fix soon.

Thanks man! This fix my wallet!

The coins that were in stake not appeared. I just typing "repairwallet" in the console and they reappeared

In the it rest do building this community, would anyone mind helping set up this subreddit here?: http://www.reddit.com/r/Stealthcoin/

I can also of course hand over control to the developers or make them moderators of the sub.

If the Devs or you need more mods, let me know, I can help.

I could use someone who is proficient in CSS.

My wallet keeps loosing sync also.

I would highly recommend the dev to provide people with a "bootstrap" of the blockchain up to this moment. (as bitcoin / litcoin etc do)  So people can get on the correct fork and mostly up to sync.

With everyone on the correct blockchain for sure, it should help the network to stay in sync.

I thought the other devs were going to keep us updated while the main dev is still in retreat. Come on guys, step up your game, its been 3 days already and none of you guys have even showed that any effort is being done to fix the existing issues in the wallet.

Yes, we need to have some serious discussions on how town crease the community size, gain new investors and keep the coin ahead of other coins. Most altcoins fail, and to me, this one has a good chance of making it.

Tl;dr

We need to advertise and promote the fuck out of this coin. Then back that up with new features, promotions, etc... The developers need to lead this.

One block per minute.
Devs, are you still here?
Can I compete in "Challenge 2"? I have three addresses, not one.

I change: Sleep(250) after block signing to Sleep(60000).
I don't know if that is right, but it works.

Edit: someone has generated 11 blocks in 10 secs 11087 - 11097 and my chain was forked again.
and I was back on the Fork. I restored the backup of a blockchain and restart the program.

Devs, you should change the source to set 1 minute interval and recompile a wallet.

If you are looking for something long term this is not it. There are literally 50 other coins making the same developments as this one.

Yes, there are 50 other coins out there but chance is you can't even spell most of them or these coins have any relevant to there name or use.
PlanktonCoin, VootCoin(owl?), UroCoin, KeyCoin(use for key chain?), FractalCoin... on and on... most are just nonsense craps and still have better price than Stealtcoin. Just weird to me.

I don't think the spelling of a coin is as relevant as the functionality of a coin. I do find it odd that a coin with TOR is doing far worse than some coins that have nothing special to offer. I think overall, the early investors don't have trust in this team. If you check out some of the other anon coins, like Cloakcoin, there's more of a professional feel to it compared to XST. XST should have implemented all of the anon features before releasing the coin...spent some bucks to get a nice website...and then I think it would have made a bigger splash. I think it was relying to much on hype...which didn't work.

The reason why this coin is loosing too coins that haven't even added Tor yet is because these other coins are promoted and advertised a lot more. Also, the developer teams have their own public relations (PR) person or they themselves take on that role in addition to developing the coin.

Crypto is a war of public perceptions!

Stealthcoin and Darkcoin are both some of the best names you could have for a privacy oriented crypto currency. The reason why Darkcoin is winning, is because it has been advertised and promoted so much that everyone knows about it. If we do the same for Stealthcoin, the price could rise up to Darkcoin's price levels!

What I'm looking for is the following:
1. PR guy/gal or developers interacting with the community each day of the week.
2. Promotion and advertising. Think reddit, Stealthcoin subreddit, Bitcointalk, twitter, major altcoin people, etc...
3. Hype creation with professionalism from the developers to back it up.
4. Making the coin as appealing as possible to larger investors.
5. Increasing the community size continuously for growth, promotion by word of mouth, etc...
6. This last one is completely optional, but many coins who had the developer reveal his identity increased greatly in value because the developer couldn't just run away with people's money or scam people.

Give us more development updates:
1. Even if nothing new has happen, we like to know you didn't die, end up in the hospital, abandon the coin, etc... A simple, "we are still working on this" is good enough for short developer bits of information in addition to other information.
2. Don't just tell us your hopes and dreams for the coin. Tell us what can be accomplished now in a reasonable amount of time.
3. Plan the development thoroughly but be ready for unforeseen roadblocks. Keep something new like a feature, contest, etc... in your developer test wallets for a rainy day to please the community and keep the value up.
4. More than one dev talking is always good.
5. Show us how active you are. Investors want active developers!
6. We can never have enough transparency!

Progamer makes valid points. But first the devs have to start being more active and take the lead. The main dev being on a retreat without internet is no excuse. Take some initiative and start being active. Fix the wallet for starters. And keep us updated frequently even if there is no  development updates. A simple 'we are still here working' is suffice and shouldnt take too much effort regardless of how busy you guys are. You dont want the price and volume to tank to a point of no return.

To those asking for a roadmap included myself should expecting the answer as early as tomorrow. The dev team included myself are in Stealthcoin for a long run and this is the reason why Stealthdevs don't want to go overboard combating FUD, if any. One trading tip for everyone;
People can't get rich by day/night trading and flipping. You might profits today for a burger or score a month of free rent then quite and be happy about it but the problem is tomorrow you might not score again, heck it can even eat half of your investment. If you look into Warren Buffett portfolios most of his most profits investment is have to wait decade and decade, 100x or even 1000x of his investment. My point is Stealthcoin is here to stay and the dev team is legit. Just know other coins are craps, the nonsense name and most lack of team. Stealthcoin going to blow them away! choo choo

Hondo here.

First, the challenge is to create inputs in a wallet that will eventually stake. You describe the process of minting, which comes later. However since each mint creates two new transactions that themselves will stake, you can enter. Since there have been no real entrants (that I have seen), we will allow multiple addresses, as in your case.

It seems like a good idea to add a sleep to space mints. Probably the best place to do it is right in the ThreadStakeMinter where any sleep will only affect that thread.
