In the spirit of more frequent updates, here's what's been going on: 1. I got an 8 core linux box to expedite development of StealthSend and some of the other technologies we are working on. I've not only set up the OS, but have finished a basic development environment on it. I'm happy I did it, because this baby is FAST! Much faster than the 2006 iMac I've been using for the last 8 years. To ensure this development environment works correctly, I made a 64 bit linux build of the StealthCoin wallet: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8rWObF4xz1YdFNOX1NXSjBvYWM/edit?usp=sharingIf you've got a 64 bit linux box, give it a try. Just unzip it and run the "Stealth Qt" program inside the bundle folder. I tested it on a fresh XUbuntu install with absolutely no extra dependencies installed, so it should work with any 64 bit linux system. 2. We are making headway on our mobile technology. The android app for trustless, secure sending, is probably 30% to 40% done, being hammered out by our security/android expert. That is putting a heck of a lot of pressure on me to make the changes in the wallet for the mobile technology. Now that my new linux box is functional as a development environment, I should make some pretty quick headway on the wallet modifications. 3. Our designer is back! I guess I can name him because his design firm appears at the bottom of the StealthCoin web page. Sascha is a prolific designer and somewhat of a conceptual architect as well. He is single-handedly constructing a visual identity for StealthCoin while helping to create a organizational framework in which to put many of the development ideas that the team is working on. I don't know if I'm supposed to reveal it, but check out his work on the new blog: http://blog.stealth-coin.comWell, I'll stop now because I mostly wanted to show off my sweet linux build of the wallet tonight. We seem to be on track to deliver the mobile sending platform at the advertised time, even with the days I've lost to setting up my new workstation. -- Hondo Thanks devs Very nice blog http://blog.stealth-coin.com, site https://www.stealth-coin.com and remake of the OP!

How would XST benefit a .onion vendor e.g. someone selling on blackmarket/silkroad?
I prefer to think as stealthcoin can help people who live in not democratic countries, authoritarian and with closed economy. It's hard for those who live in free countries like usa understand this, but there are countries in which a father is prohibited from buying a ps4 for their children. "... free countries like usa...." good one

Unsure, but I think I remember it mentioned a while back. Librexcoin were the first to release a working staking mobile wallet on Android (Monday) which works great. They will be releasing the source for the code in just under 2 weeks I believe, so most alts will have a staking wallet if they are PoS.

We are not working on a wallet per se, but a mobile sending platform. A staking mobile wallet is definitely something we would like to do, but is not as much of a priority as the sending platform. -- Hondo

It would be pure waste of traffic on your android, and its not that big of a move anyways.. On the other hand, option for sending wallet on android is "a must have" if you're looking at adoption, for the simple reason of useability.

I agree, I really only ever wanted to be able to send coins from my phone. All staking can be done on the desktop client. So this should be kind of like a remote to initiate sends on the desktop wallet via the android phone app?

Yes. It well be a way to send from an Android phone. There will be a whitepaper for this technology a couple of days before release.

It's not a wallet! It's a sending platform. It will be light on bells and whistles but heavy on utility.
