Before addressing the criticisms raised in this thread, I would like to express my sincere appreciation for these criticisms. Although some believe the manner in which they have been introduced may not be optimal to promote civil discourse, they are valuable criticisms nevertheless, and help to strengthen crypto-currencies in general. It is far better to address weaknesses in crypto systems during implementation than it is to address attacks after deployment.

Chandran signatures [1] make use of a common reference string. The common reference string generator (CRSGen) is a necessity for a model that does not require a random oracle, as described in [1]. CRSGen produces a string that is used as an input to a key generation function. The key generation function produces the user's public-private key pair. This key pair has specific properties in that it is a member of a particular mathematical group. In principle, key generation can be replaced by a cryptographic one-way function if the random oracle assumption is introduced.

Admittedly a more difficult issue to address is one of "unlinkability/untraceability", which boils down to the potential for a double spend. In short, Chandran signatures require the generation of a secret random parameter, g, that serves as an input to a "commitment" to a specific key in the key ring. This commitment basically identifies the public key from which the money is spent. The problem is that any number of g can be produced, creating the potential for any number of commitments to the specific public key.

In reality, this same issue exists with CryptoNote ring signatures except that the CryptoNote system incorporates a key image, I, into signing and verification, such that I can only ever be used once. A similar approach can be taken with Chandran signatures. As presented in [1], a key image I can be incorporated into Step 3 of signing and appended to the final signature. In addition to other parameters, Step 3 commits to the public keys of a subset of the ring. Just as with CryptoNote ring signatures, such a modification would commit to the key image and prevent its use for double-spends.

Relax guys I'm having another Dev, that's going to get back to me. I asked him if Chandran signatures, where doable, and if this could be a scam. I'll report back as soon as I hear anything.

heheh i cant believe anyone in crypto would be so low as to employ him can you Smiley?

it is a far question though who does employ you? or you just doing this for your concern of the xst community ? which i very much doubt - which leads on to are you doing just to stack? these are the only 3 possibilities that i can see

Yeah i've only singlehandedly presented truthful facts even your dev is acknowledging but you still seem to have issues comprehending ..hmm sounds legit!

Why the dump today?

because everyone finally realised that chandran is not a working model and will never be if the dev has any dignity in him and i believe and will give him some benefit even though he removed razorcoins copyright or someone did and put their own i will assume he has gumption and if so you will inevitably see him back out of the project and try something else or wait to copy someone else which isn't all bad because it will at least function! but it wont be untill at least Q1 next year no one here seems to have any decency in them nor any realistic expecations.

The thing I hate about you LongAndShort is the way you give Coca-Cola to your scum and your best teddy bear to Oxfam, and expect us to lick your frigid fingers for the rest of your frigid life.

LongAndShort,
How much is your troll salary? Do you have contract with your employer?

just keep it up you might one day learn something..prolly when you have lost everything and dragged down everyone around with it!
just keep being ignorant if thats what helps you sleep! but here in reality the inovation does not progress untill your minds are in it for the right reasons!

the proof is staring you in the face yet your deny it..thats ridiculous right? because as an outsider you would be concerned and just as baffled by this behavior that you are all demonstrating!

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"Con man" and "Scam" redirect here. For other uses, see see Con Man, Confidence man, and Scam (disambiguation).
A confidence trick (synonyms include confidence scheme, scam and stratagem) is an attempt to defraud a person or group after first gaining their confidence, used in the classical sense of trust. Confidence tricks exploit characteristics of the human psyche such as dishonesty, honesty, vanity, compassion, credulity, irresponsibility, naïveté and greed.

An individual who operates such scams is known as a confidence artist, con-man or con artist, and such people can operate alone or in concert with others.

Short and long cons
A short con or small con is a fast swindle which takes just minutes. It typically aims to rob the victim of everything in his or her wallet.[2]

A long con or big con (also, chiefly British English: long game[3]) is a scam that unfolds over several days or weeks and involves a team of swindlers, as well as props, sets, extras, costumes, and scripted lines. It aims to rob the victim of thousands of dollars, often by getting him or her to empty out banking accounts and borrow from family members.[4]

not really man - the question was why are you ?

Because i know that stealthsend isn't going to happen. And i know its going to mess a lot of people up and i know this community is the worst there is in the anon and altcoin areas.. I know that a few anon coins soon, will be releasing massive marketing packages along with their milestones 100% anon breakthroughs.

That will bring a lot and i mean a lot of new outsiders in and i'm really making an example here of just how pathetic people are going to look to them and how toxic and what a turnoff they are to them. I know they will walk away and  it will mess up the image of the entire industry because they falsely look like they are innovating and the clowns here are all wildly abusive to anyone who asks questions so they are just going to push so many away. That coupled with the failure of this project, the clear signs of its fluff marketing. and if it does not change its course in the way of the stealthsend proposal, unapproachable community members and features its selling and the process used to sell them speculatively. It will be very very bad news let alone all the people who believe the shit you manufacture here daily clearly avoiding the truths and bugs! getting hurt when investors just have enough of this bs. It effects us all how wild this project is and how eye opening it and the community are....i showed someone this thread today and the response i got was not good.

This is about bigger and more important things then he stupid paranoias and narrowminded ideas you have about it this has everything to do with shaping our future your re either for it or against it it will happen with or without you..trust me though if you guys don't pull your heads in you are in for a rude shock..the new market coming is going to tear shreds off you and you will feel it in your pockets they wont put up with this bullshit and will walk away and crush this industry in the media! I'm disgusted and appalled and have copped so much abuse in here why would i stay!! you couldn't pay most people but i'm here because its worth it! and you may not believe me until it happens. anyone that knows me in crypto or offline knows i am who i say i am i don't lie i don't cheat people and i wear my heart on my sleeve i care about my future your future and your kids futures if we fuck around now we could just delay and make it that much harder for the next gen to fight for their liberties and freedoms it happens with us! right now right here!

You asked but i doubt you believe me i finish what i set out to do and i'm not finished here!
