Unfortunately my CAPTs are in paper wallets... I'll PM my private keys to dev after the message. There's totalling more than a hundred thousand of CAPTcoins.
Thank you very much Bannedseller. I've got much more than 100k CAPT from your keys, plus my own coins I now have almost 200k CAPT. If I dump them on the current exchanges then I would completely crash the market and I wouldn't get much from it. So, as suggested by BitcoinNational, I propose this: - I'm selling those coins at 250 sat (0.00000250 BTC), which is a rough average on the exchanges, considering both buy and sell prices.
- I will personally add 50% to that amount: If you buy 1,000 CAPT and pay 0.0025 BTC for it then I'll add 0.00125 BTC and a total of 0.00375 BTC will go to the donation funds on 1JVGDYQoBGCMSch5r9fkpk2fY1sMV3hJnQ.
- I will convert all the BTC to USD and donate it to the Red Cross - Ecuador
I hope people will join this. You just have to buy CAPT at approximately market value. Important: I will assign a unique address to every buyer. That address will be signed with my PGP key. After the transaction is done I'll add my 50% and send the total to 1JVGDYQoBGCMSch5r9fkpk2fY1sMV3hJnQ. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1
The address to be used as donation fund for the earthquake in Ecuador is: 1JVGDYQoBGCMSch5r9fkpk2fY1sMV3hJnQ
I will convert to USD its full balance and send it to the Red Cross - Ecuador's account.

Agreed let me kick this fundraiser off with a $20 USD donation of 0.045 BTC https://blockchain.info/tx/9f3cc366c927563feadf1573cc6ffd55204232bef96f15eb95ecc3753a4a319bAs added incentive @Ecuamobi I'm donating the CAPT Coin back to you to give to the next person who sends a $20 or more donation in bitcoin. So donate now and get the CAPT Coin I had coming for the above donation :-) Also folks if you can NOT give BITCOIN that's OK, give a share of this page on your social network(s) (twitter, facebook, etc...) Good Luck with the fundraising @Ecuamobi! I'll be sharing this page later tonight when I get home via twitter.

At the moment the address has BTC0.0675. Next Thursday the 12th I'll convert its full balance to fiat and send it to the Red Cross Ecuador. To be honest this has been much less successful than I expected. Anyway I've made a transfer equivalent to the balance of the address (~$30) along with my own donation ($220) to the Red Cross. Unfortunately I don't know how to prove it. Anyway here's a screenshot of it, edited for my privacy: https://i.imgur.com/uElcToI.pngIf anyone else wants to join this is still open, but I'll add the offered 50% extra only after the BTC amount exceeds what I've already transfered.

We are STILL unable to sync the CAPT blockchain !! There is some serious memory leak in the wallet that causes the node to crash and force a reboot several times per day while just trying to sync the block chain to get current. Unless our wallet can get up to current by Sunday night, we'll have to rescind our SWAP offer as we'll be unable to execute it. -dvd i'm up to height 1394336, best block should be 1587093 should still take a while...

while it's true that CAPTcoind is a memory hog (almost 2Gb virtual memory on my 16Gb desktop), mine is is up to date since several days now and did never crash... try to add a generous swapfile to see if it helps, i find odd that the wallet is rebooting the host, if it's linux, it should just invoke the oom-killer when out of memory and terminate the wallet process...

wow ! ratio 1:100. so, the CAPTcoin just for holder or faucet airdrop still available? LOL -- no the initial offer is 1:10 (ONE:TEN) -- but that might change given how much trouble it's been for us to get the blockchain downloaded -- going on over a week at this point. It could end up being closer to 1:2 - 1:5 depending on the total number of coins -- need to confirm there was a "BURN" event and without a block explorer that is more difficult. The "air drop" is on-going and will be for the foreseeable future: See: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=741714.msg15056734#msg15056734For more details -dvd

and as i've already said: yes, the wallet needs a lot of ram but not much more as other wallets i'm running (eg. tekcoind) but doesn't consume it indefinitely, indeed it stays constant day after day... therefore i can't confirm it's affected by a memory leak, however that's on linux, i don't know what windows does...

Thanks skunk! This was super helpful. The node I'm trying to build this on is a Linux box, but its low ram since it was seed node 2 and 2GIVE doesn't require a lot of resources. NEW NODE ONLINE DEDICATED TO CAPTCOIN SWAP. Spun up a new cloud VM last night and we're already about 1/2 way syncing the chain! Hopefully it will be fully sync'd yet today and we can start the swap 2GIVE BTW, go download the latest Release Candidate Five (RC5) wallet and check out the uber cool "Gift*" paper wallet support it now has IN THE WALLET! http://2Give.Info/#downloadBased on the updated info from skunk that there are actually 2.3M floating CAPT and the our target for SWAPS has been at around 2-3% of the total 2GIVE supply puts us at a 1:5 swap ratio. More details and swap instructions soon once our wallet is fully synch'd. -dvd Thanks skunk! This was super helpful. just 1:5? capt is in a way better shape than what pmp was because: 1. the distribution was fair and 100% completed 2. even if the wallet is far from perfect and with its issues, it works and the net is alive thus it's way more valuable than what php was... sorry but even if this coin is not actively developed anymore, i won't swap it at a lower ratio than the initially promised 1:10...

Based on the updated info from skunk that there are actually 2.3M floating CAPT and the our target for SWAPS has been at around 2-3% of the total 2GIVE supply puts us at a 1:5 swap ratio.
just 1:5? capt is in a way better shape than what pmp was because: 1. the distribution was fair and 100% completed 2. even if the wallet is far from perfect and with its issues, it works and the net is alive thus it's way more valuable than what php was... sorry but even if this coin is not actively developed anymore, i won't swap it at a lower ratio than the initially promised 1:10... same here. my coins are staying where they are.

I've burned up a lot of time trying to get this coin online -- it's STILL not online yet: SetBestChain: new best=9ab436a826a97cf8d724954c39218561318c1d8c47f760d4d742dc66e37cb913 height=1041471 trust=19207871058641 date=05/31/15 18:43:11 Stake checkpoint: a2b783ab ProcessBlock: ACCEPTED SetBestChain: new best=44161fddb801fd32d8e644e0713b4f201d09397af695188db6afa27f9cf2d8bb height=1041472 trust=19207873920402 date=05/31/15 18:43:43 Stake checkpoint: 48a37f2e ProcessBlock: ACCEPTED
PMP though broken as an implementation at least came up to speed in less than a day! I was originally told that there were only 1.2M coins in circ, hence the initial offer was based on that date point -- there is almost twice that amount.... Consider that not only is CAPTcoin not actively developed, it doesn't have a block explorer OR any means of exchange -- and what do you have? The fact of the matter is, SNF only has so many coins to do swaps and it's not like we're getting anything of value out of them -- just mindshare -- and likely not much of that since a high percentage of people immediately run off to an exchange to cash 2GIVE out for BTC. At the end of the day you either want "a slice of the watermelon" or "the whole grape" ? Think it over...and when we get a working wallet online we'll open up the SWAP and you can decide privately if you want something of value or not. This swap offer will not be open forever. We just release our RC5 wallet that includes Gift*card paper wallet support in the app. When coupled with the mobile wallet we're starting development on now we have a powerful system to do "air-drops" in the real world. -dvd PS: when you say the "net is alive" -- what does that mean to you? I can't see it yet, but I can share that the 2GIVE seed nodes carry an average of +80 connections, recently spiking to around 120 -- what's in your wallet??
