How can there be 40+ BTC in Volume for BTCD at Bittrex, when the price isnt even rising or falling a penny? Some1 selling to himself?
That is my theory but looks like drk group all the time pusing price down.
Drk is lost becouse of their scam.As I good remember they possession 50% of coins in circulation. But they still pump that shit.

Maybe they're dumping because the wallet isnt even syncing. Not with correct peers, not with correct conf. Atleast it should scare alot if not all new investors.  Roll Eyes

uh yeah. you are so right. my wallet is not even syncing. oh wait a minute, yea it is, solid as rock, going on six months now.

get a life.

recently dumped some coins to pay for new spoondolies hardware mini farm. I would not worry about current prices. As long as the wallet is updated soon and new features progression continues and new coins are adopted into the supernet your investment is secure and all these things and more are happening which is why i still have not dumped anything more than 5000 btcd. And if you have noticed that buy orders come in days after my dumps on bittrex to recoupe the sold coins.

I knew it would be tricky to get the makeoffer2 fully working, but I did finally manage to get the simplest case to almost work...

Many details I knew about, but didnt realize its impact on complexity, eg. NXT requirement of 1000 NXT for referenced tx, asset decimals creating cases where AE cant be used at fractional prices, etc.

So it looks like both methods of trade clearance using NXT AE will need to be used, each with its advantages and disadvantages. For assets with reasonable number of decimals the price granularity is not a problem, so just need to have enough NXT on deposit. For the cases where this is not the case, then the makeoffer direct swap will need to be used and for that virtually any pricepoint is possible even with things that have no decimals. The downside is it is open to attack by the generator of the next block, but it takes a lot of effort to setup and the timing has to be perfect and they would lose the ability to generate a block for almost 2 days, so for smaller amount tx it would be fine.

tl:dr as expected this part isnt easy, but making progress

Why the big price drop?

Well, today the drop from 35000 to 30000 involved only 3 BTC on Bittrex at 11:30 EST...
So someone is setting money on fire in order to hurt BTCD price.

It won't work... the Rich List is really solid...
And every dump in the last 6 months has been a buying opportunity.

Last time i've checked people were saying the price would climb after January, because the tech would be released by then. Is there a delay or?

Complex software is notorious for being behind schedule...
Just think about how many times a new version of Windows was late by a year or more...
There "release date" for Windows 10 is officially "later in the year".

SuperNET has so many moving parts and innovations that this applies...
In the same way it applies to projects like MaidSafe or Etherium.

InstantDEX is about to be released. Hence the price drop. The more features are released the more people like to sell.

It is part of the buy high and sell low strategy. So it is not based on anything rational, unless the point is to create uncertainity

Like i said previously I am buying back the coins i sold, weak hands have made my investment in btcd extremely profitable. Also its one bot ( mine ) buying and selling to itself at the moment. I strongly urge you to hold unless you need to get rid of your coins which i will purchase as soon as the sell orders go out. and really the volume of trades on bittrex are really not that great which is why a smart investor will wait for instadex to really do strong trades.
