I estimate I can get it done before we get GUI and Mac and Windows builds done by the others. I wont be the bottleneck. It will be the mundane stuff that slows the production release.

So it wont matter so much if I get it working on ubuntu and Mac BitcoinDarkd that teleports bitcoin before September, if there is no Windows and Mac QT.

Now if all the different parts do happen to come together by end of this month and the testers cant find any problems, then, at that point your guess is as good as mine. BTCD will enable BTC to be dark, cant really put a number on that.

I have been working with an Ivy league univ math prof on calculating the size of the anon set that Teleport has and as I wrote in the DarkPaper it is quite big. As the overall teleport traffic grows, the anon set grows and it becomes harder and harder for anybody to make anything but random chance correlations, but there isnt even anything to randomly correlate! If you store a telepod for any length of time, the anon set could literally be everybody that did a teleport over a day, week, month, etc.

Short of you announcing that you will be teleporting X amount at noon and the receiver says I received X amount at noon, things get so fuzzy and confused, and even in such a blatantly non-private scenario if there is a lot of other teleports going on, you still cant be sure which telepod went from you to the destination. Since there is this fundamental uncertainity over who controls the telepods at any given time, any sort of path analysis quickly becomes useless.

That is before we add trusted teleports to the equation. Once we do that, there isnt even a cloning event to latch on to. Your internet traffic would need to be monitored to even detect that you are involved in a teleport, but of course the M of N (254) fragments that are being routed or did you initiate that?, it will be like trying to find a speck of white cotton in a blizzard.

I think once we get things setup we can have some sort of challenge to see if anybody can reliably identify who paid whom, or even guess at better than random chance basis.

Other than the time the DRK troll stopped by for some nonsense, it has been a FUD free zone. I try to put any of those types on the spot to produce statements that are based on facts. That usually makes them go away.

Now we are getting to where top 10 is within sight, I expect more and more FUD from the other coins that are panicking, but most people here are very fast to demand actual facts.  I am hoping for some actual tech discussions with the FUD guys that will say Teleport wont work, but the pirates seems to have explained it clearly enough that maybe they all know that it will work. i cant wait to get the mathematical proofs that shows Teleport totally making ring signatures obsolete and that is even without the blockchain bloat issue or the risk of one day Quantum computers decoding the blockchain.

We are a few weeks away from totally changing how crypto is viewed. Some will hate this, but most will absolutely love the transformation.

Now we are creating actual massive value here, not just revolutionary functionality, but also financial value with revenue sharing unique among crypto coins. I have always said BTCD will be top 10 coin one day, even back when it was 0.00015 such a long time ago. Some of you know that I actually have set my goals a bit higher, but keep in mind that a lot of traders have BTCD and they will sell when they achieve some profits, regardless of coin's future outlook. So, price will go up, volumes go up, price comes down, volumes go down, price gradually climbs back, etc. Just because we will be going higher on the top lists doesnt mean it will be in a straight line. Volatility is expected primarily due to the massive popularity that BTCD will have.

You know my advice. Buy and HODL!

The DRK collapse is just so quick, its market cap is now less than three times BTCD, that's the marketcap!
Just 5 spots on coinmarketcap apart (I dont count bytecoin that bounces from 4 to 5 satoshis, causes big percentage changes all the time)

At this rate, BTCD could be the top ranked anon coin, as soon as Teleport is in production release, or when people are convinced that nothing will stop it from production release. I need to get some rest so I can finish the last loose ends.

So I read James' DarkPaper with much interest and was thoroughly entertained to boot. I'm a believer in POS and invest heavily in NXT (and now BTCD) compared to BTC, (probably because I missed the BTC rocket). None-the-less, I do have hardcore bitcoiner friends who did rocket and are POW hardliners.

I question the psychology of how BTCD will attract BTC hardliners and how we as a community intend to stand by POS/teleport as a means to darken BTC. In other words, maybe I don't see how teleporting will be a "sell" to bitcoiners (as if darkening btc is not enough to simply sell BTCD)...but how will the POWed bitcoins (or other POW and POS coins) intend to teleport "through" the BTCD blockchain? Will this process of teleporting risk turning bitcoin into a POS coin, even if only temporarily thereby getting snubbed by some of those hardliners?

Maybe I missed this in the DarkPapers...it was a long read (should give it a second run) but in the meantime, can someone clarify?

How I understand it is that you don't have to have BTCD at all. It will offer teleporting  that will allow any coin to use the service.

It will not turn any coin into another coin

As well as developing new tech to decentralize trading of coins and assets, I believe all fee's for new tech's will be payable in BTCD

If these new service's take off people who hold BTCD should be in for some nice returns.
