Yes, that should be the correct wallet.

Hm, I am not having any problems with the mac wallet.  Try restarting.  If you continue to have problems, let me know, and I will try to diagnose your problem when I am home.

Can you try doing:
Help -> Debug window -> Console -> Type in "getpeerinfo" and post the output here

The problem may be that your client is not connecting with peers, so I'm looking to see if you have "Banscore=1" for all peers with all blocks.

Update: Had more to work @ work than i hoped for so i didn't manage to compile the win wallet yet.

On it now.

Edit: Ok, its compiling now, will take a while - didn't bother to assign more CPUs or RAM to the Vm. :|

I've looked now, stucked at 9027, everywhere banscore=1. Why's that?

EDIT:
If I switch socks on, it's working and everything is ok, except that banscore is still equal 1. What does it mean? Why does it work if it shouldn't? Did I misunderstand something?

have you tried resyncing the whole blockchain?
you can also try just deleting your peers.dat and leave it on for a while
