Moto of this coin is dying. Everybody seems to tell that they know why, hope at least the dev knows why.

stuck @ block 10000 with win wallet, a lot of these in debug log:
ERROR: CheckProofOfStake() : INFO: check kernel failed on coinstake 7b7e1b49893dcfd725704ad7436adfc1e28e46aab1ef795ba3fc0d74a3e7dd69, hashProof=9af869cccf63fd5ac003b7556509384f34cae69e26fad74dc9a19e9e8e902da1 WARNING: ProcessBlock(): check proof-of-stake failed for block 59201dd989ad65f03215226ce2d0d7cc212916df0a97c2726978269b6fe3069b
Is the Mac built done with the latest github sources?
Edit: Probably not. Last changes were in kernel so thats likely the issue. Can someone make a Mac and/or Linux built with current sources and upload them (and set min_proto_version to 70101 in version.h - i did that in win32 wallet)?
Windows users please try the win wallet I posted a page earlier. Especially if you have coins for staking in your wallet
My guess is that we might get that bitch moving again if we bring staking wallets with the current codebase online - i have no coins to stake in wallet and Mac wallets are probably out of date. :|

Here's my blk0001.dat with 10325 blocks downloaded. https://mega.co.nz/#!w5EHwBJQ!9QRVUg_GdY_CRMqKQmsnpRtIee9T3A0N2_XQHPm3Jww You can try running: triangles-qt -loadblock="path to this blk0001.dat file"

set min_proto_version to 70101 in version.h - Check Linux built with current sources - Check First try(Command: ./triangles-qt): Synced to 9500 Second try(Command: ./triangles-qt): Synced to 10000 Result: Stuck at 10000... getpeerinfo got me some nodes with startingheight of 10325 One of them was the node: rw6umok4f6hljuqv.onion:24112 Third try (Command: Synced to ./triangles-qt -connect=rw6umok4f6hljuqv.onion:24112): Synced to 10325 However when I now simply start the wallet without a specific node, it is synced to 10325 (Block #10325 is now 2 days old) and stay there (in red: "Out of sync"). Is this because no synced node (over block #10325) is online? btw. The blockexplorer is down.

if we get enough clients to that point (block 10325, current sources and min_proto_version 70101 - but we need some staking clients!), the blockchain should move again.
this would require a new mac built - someone in for that?
unfortunetely i cant help with the staking part, my coins are stuck @ bittrex.

I am on the most recently uploaded mac client, at 10325, and have some coins in my wallet. Is there a further update that needs to be done for the mac build?

Dunno, is the most recent mac client built from latest sources? I think, it isnt - at least not the client that was postet in this forum. Thats probably the cause for this issue. Win & Linux wallets now being built with curent sources, Mac client isnt - last change in kernel is probably missing. Same for min_proto_version 70101, probably not set. But we need to verify that. Or someone builts a mac client with current sources and publishes it. Devs would also have to update sources so that clients dont get stuck synchronizing the blockchain because they have to verify PoS blocks created by different client versions (what probably happened here) - although this is not crucial for getting the blockchain moving again in the first place.

seems this dev is busier posting in other threads on bct and trading other coins than taking care of his own coin..
Seems like the watch has 24h I was over at QuatlooCoin - amazed by their new invention, something that don´t come along every day around here. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=711966.0;allBut yes - Triangles - You are always on my mind, or in my behind - which is cool and all What you need to do in regards of Triangle is to upgrade to the latest wallet and stake coins. That will make the network smooth. If none of you stake - the network will be stuck. I don´t have a premine to stake, so this must be done by the community - specially you hardcore miners who mined the hell out of it during PoW. There is only so much I can do in this case - so please do what I say - upgrade your wallets or remain in cold storage until things flow again.

Nothing will happen until this coin is repaired.
Several people posted compiled wallets, where dev did not make any statement. He is out of this coin and with his triangles, really all of you should know why.
Linux wallet is not passing 9500 (todays build, which is actually not different from previous builds).
If community does not overtake, TRI will be dead if it's not already since couple of days.

Theres only one way to make clients fully sync in one attempt again: dev (or someone) would have to change sources so we dont get a lot of these in debug log: ERROR: CheckProofOfStake() : INFO: check kernel failed on coinstake 7b7e1b49893dcfd725704ad7436adfc1e28e46aab1ef795ba3fc0d74a3e7dd69, hashProof=9af869cccf63fd5ac003b7556509384f34cae69e26fad74dc9a19e9e8e902da1 WARNING: ProcessBlock(): check proof-of-stake failed for block 59201dd989ad65f03215226ce2d0d7cc212916df0a97c2726978269b6fe3069b But thats not crucial for getting the blockchain moving again since https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=697634.msg8075888#msg8075888 works as a workaround. To get the blockchain moving, we need: staking(!) clients with min_proto_version set to 70101(!). we need a mac wallet from current sources for that! win exists, linux works,.....

It seems like dev has abandoned us by these posts: If I can offer to help you guys out - I have a working TOR-ANON in Triangles that can easily be ported over to MACD also.
It will require that a few of you step it up and stake enough coins to be working as super-nodes before and after anon.
worth noticing: When I added ANON to Triangles the price went up so high that everyone sent off their coins to Bittrex and shut off the network behind them, just letting you know that if I help you out - don´t do the same mistake as my peeps did.
I´ll be around.
I can help you guys implement TOR-technology. I have a working TOR on Triangles that can be ported over.
Are there any developers willing to relaunch this coin (even this dev if he hasn't fully abandoned it) by giving us an extra thousand 10 reward blocks of POW and a windows and mac wallet so we can get this chain moving again and breathe some life into the coin? I bought up a few thousand coins at 1000 satoshi and would be willing to pay 2000 TRI or 3.33% of the new total (60,000) to the developer who does the above. The community has to agree to this idea before you start work. We are already on bittrex and coinmarketcap, which is a great head start for any new coin. Anyone else willing to chip in? Thoughts on this? This could easily be a speculative $300,000 coin. 3.33% of $300,000 is $10,000.

I am willing to assist where i can - compiling win wallets is the least i can do. - Dev (or some dev) would have to fix the sources so that Clients will sync properly without the need of workarounds again. - Also its obviously a problem to find someone who can and will compile the Mac wallet. If these 2 things above happen, we are good to go. @3angle: Are you finished here or still on board?
