Yes, its a problem that affects everyone. We are advising in IRC, twitter, support, but yet without success.

It's not very decentralised in having to trust on one central exchange.  The current MintPal problem helps to show this problem.  Other small alts with similar market capitalisation as Faircoin are traded on multiple exchanges.  I think we need a really big push to try and get Faircoin listed on few other exchanges too. Even if they're only smaller or newer exchanges.

i have asked also to https://allcoin.com and https://crypto-trade.com that seems both relliable but not mainstream exchanges that could be interested in adding faircoin

I don't think that we can consider Faircoin up on Mintpal until they fix the problem with the faircoin balances... I have adviced again on twitter, and tehy said again that are working on it.

What does a daemon codebase issue means? I'm not so much into that technical stuff

This could be problem with the back part of the code of some wallets,  but anyway is an automatic reply, and not the case of faircoin.
the faircoin is a unic situation in mintpal because they forgot to move the balances from FAIR because they done it with FAC code...
