Hi, i made a ticket @ BTER (exchange) to add FAIR to the voting list.

The good news is : it got accepted https://bter.com/voting#FAIR

Bad news is: You need a account where you have traded on to be able to vote (depending on your volume 1 - 10 times an hour)

Once i have done some trading there i will make sure i try to vote every hour i can.

Awesome.  I threw some upvotes at FAIR, now in the top 100 on BTER.  Still quite a ways to go though.

Yes, they probably stole all the users funds and now they will come up with some bullshit statement just like cryptorush did at the beginning of the year.

Statement will be something like this: all users funds are safe but can't access them, stay tuned blah blah blah, repayment soon blah blah blah.

In light of the MintPal closure does anyone have any spare altcoins they no longer want.  If so use them to vote to add FairCoin to the new exchange ColdCryptos they need a total of $120 of cryptocoin votes to add FairCoin.  You can pay with up to sixty different cryptocoins.  Just click on the vote now feature within this LINK to create a wallet to top up and vote with.  I know we now have the new exchange Vaultex but the more exchanges we can get to add FairCoin the better.  To help with decentralisation and redundancy plus in case Valutex was ever to go offline.  Plus if they get enough votes to add FairCoin to their new exchange then it'll also be added to their Facebook Multicoin Tipping App and their soon to be released Twitter tipping bot.

I don't think so. The good news is that mintpal is not owned by moolah, so they simply are leaving the management and a new team has been hired.
I think that in fact that can be better than expected, because mintpal could be more professional again.

Otherwise moolah has been very involved in the dogecoin community  helping in some social causes.
You can see here https://www.reddit.com/r/dogecoin
and here are the numerous answers from moolah ceo: http://www.reddit.com/user/moolah_

This is not the kind of involvement from some one runing away.

What has been lost are the 500 BTC investments from the members of dogecoin community, how you can read there. This is not illegal, and owners from Moolah, can close or sell their business, without legal problems. Not there are a reason to think other thing
Seems a clear case of bad bussines management and not so good technical skills.
Their way running mintpal, for me is a proof that they was desperated trying to be sustainable, and desperation is not a good friend with quality of your job  Wink

Lets wait what have to say the new mintpal managers...

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=824211

I noticed FAIR is not in the list, Is it because people who have lost their faircoins didn't get in touch with the topic's author? Or is there another reason? Maybe is better not to be on the list?

I see this as too much drama at the moment, when most probably is a new management team with coins safe.

Anyway if some time is needed to do a list i would suggest to do our own list ourselves
we are a self organized community, and not need that others list our coins  Wink

Hi matthewh3,

thanks for supporting FairCoin and being an active community member.

I found some very outdated information you published at coldcryptos.com and/or whitepuma.net. Please find updated information at http://fair-coin.org/.

Could you please update your post at coldcryptos forum to reflect the current state of FairCoin including but not limited to the following items:

  • You published the old logo from the old development team, please use our new logo
  • The 'Coin details' paragraph is out of date, see our web site
  • The most problematic peace of outdated information is the link to the OLD github repository. If someone builds that he will be fed up with FairCoin right away
  • The FairCoin forum is located here: https://forum.fair-coin.org

Anyway, thanks again for your efforts.

regs
Thomas

Damned MintPal!
I lost my 75k FAIR in this "exchange". It's about 1,5-2 BTC!

I lost 950K FAIR. Sad

Aren't lost.
if the new mintpal managers don't solve it, we will do by ourselves.

really? that's a good news!
