What is the difference of official and unofficial if you and most reffer to unofficial as official??? Maybe I am dumb, but for me it sounds like official = unofficial with difference that unofficial rules ???are being adapted in this thread??? and official not?? Wow! You can't edit official rules when there is a need to do it and thats why there are unofficial rules.
Just follow the rules (official or unofficial), in letter and in spirit. No "official" set of rules was ever published, because if rules are set in stone, then people will come up with clever ways to bypass them, and then complain when a moderator takes action. This is however a very good thread to read to find out in general what you can and can't do. I do believe it should be stickied, but kept as "unofficial"

It is not hard at all if staff does not flip it around or use for some questionable agenda. It is clear what is forbidden or not if you read rules, the problem is that they are by far not applied as written which does complain with the statement that it is "rule" at all. And if it is not a rule, then it simply should not be applied until it is worked out to some applyable rule (no matter if the question is in staff quality or complexity of rule definition itself). That's why I ask for difference. As you probably realised, I accuse mprep in support of some clearly illegal activities on this forum where his actions got backup by administration which did not behave much different than moderation. I think it would be only fair to your users, especially new users if you could at least define rules that staff of this forum is able to apply. As last, many do not know how to find rules, dumb or not, thats true and then they get banned because rules were not placed where they belong. I really dont know why I share at all opinion here if staff is clearly different opinion and supporting much that I define as crime. Still, I think my opinion could be usefull. What is the difference of official and unofficial if you and most reffer to unofficial as official??? Maybe I am dumb, but for me it sounds like official = unofficial with difference that unofficial rules ???are being adapted in this thread??? and official not?? Wow! Slightly modified one of the thread posting guidelines (change underlined): All Local boards - Discussion of various topics in the appropriate language. Posting translated coin announcements is limited to languages that have their own section (a.k.a. dedicated board with sub-boards). Also, added Cyrus to the credits for the suggestion.

@mprep You do block my PM because of the reason that you deleted. You are the mod who I accuse in what is written here. This post is not offtopic, it has to do with all rules in this thread and it's "unofficial" definition.
EDIT: Inserted screen of blocked PM
Do you want to try to silence me because you made mistakes? This is not going to work, users should not only know what unofficial rules are but also how official mods like you do not apply them unofficially. Again, reply to this post that is deleted. I repost it because I threat it's deletion as silencing and cutting my free speech rights. Why is this deleted? It is about rules and in appropriate thread, in unofficial one. Can someone explain me why is this deleted at all? Please reply in public to this and if you think new thread should be created for that then in my eyes it would be another spam thread. A reply of yours, quoted below, was deleted by a Bitcoin Forum moderator. Posts are most frequently deleted because they are off-topic, though they can also be deleted for other reasons. In the future, please avoid posting things that need to be deleted. Can you reply to this here? Anybody of Admins or Mods is welcome to reply it, I will quote it: ... The rules apply to eveyone.
That's the problem, they aren't applied and as explanation comes always some prove that the person who should apply rules plays either dumb not understanding them, flipping around or starting another question to distract from discussion. If rules would be applied, suchmoon and some other members here would be banned, especially for their puppet accounts. Everybody is clearly in illusioin that rules can exist if you apply them only on people who you dislike because you dislike them or their opinion. All this ends in anarchy, nobody cares about rules if those who apply them are either unable to do so or they simply mark this forum to be without any rules. THERE ARE NO RULES HERE THAT ARE APPLIED TO EVERYONE => THIS FORUM HAS NO RULES. If you are not my opinion, feel free to open new thread instead of poluting this one. Basicly I want you to reply: 1. they aren't applied and as explanation comes always some prove that the person who should apply rules plays either dumb not understanding them, flipping around or starting another question to distract from discussion.2. THERE ARE NO RULES HERE THAT ARE APPLIED TO EVERYONE => THIS FORUM HAS NO RULES

And yeah, of course I want to revoke my vote for this voting, please open it, I want to change my vote, this thread should clearly not be pinned and nobody should reffer in it's signature to this thread as long as it does not have anything to do with official rules.

I think you have something fundamentally wrong: there are no "free speech rights" on a private forum, unless the forum owner has granted such rights and even then, the forum owner could decide to revoke them at his or her whim. Your "free speech rights" may apply to you in your particular country, or whatever, but you don't have the right to write anything you please on someone else's forum. This is a private club. Hope this helps.

Not sure if this question fits here, but I don't think it deserves a thread on its own, so... Should threads out of the correct sections be reported too, in order to be moved?

If a thread is in a wrong section, yes, report it.

If a thread is in a wrong section, yes, report it. If you can, please add a board suggestion for a thread to be moved in instead of the classic 'wrong section' report. It's helpful for everyone as a mod might mark it as bad if the thread is moved in the meantime while the report remains unhandled.

I got a ban for asking different threads to vote on an issue of security that affects each project. This is the banned post: The vote thread itself was not removed. How does one ask people to vote on an issue that affects almost all projects? It seems that posting the same thing in different threads which is on topic in different threads and asking for a survey vote is not allowed, which makes no sense. If I created one survey for each coin thread asking the same question but only for that coin I would be banned?

Dear Bitcointalk.org moderators! I have one question. If a user has created a theme, and in the name of the topic: abusive racist name of the country - it is allowed?

Yup. As long as he's not doing anything illegal and the content of such thread is constructive (as in not just racist comments, personal insults, etc.), the forum's policy allows him to express whatever opinions he holds (policy based on freedom of speech and all that).

Can I ask this, should a user can be reported too if he quoted a long post, eg. the main OP (in altcoin ICO, signature campaigns, ANN threads) because its too annoying like you have to scroll and scroll down to see the next reply of the thread.
If someone asked this already, my bad and I apologize, (just give me the link of the answer if answered already) I want to clarify this also. Thanks.

It should be fine unless the user is doing it repeatedly to troll others(ex, quoting the main topic every time he replies in the thread with no connection to what he is replying or if he doing so without adding any text/substantial text(emojis, "+1" only etc)

Yes, if it's unnecessary.

Thanks @mexxer-2 and @hilariousandco for the reply this will help others to report some users here for this issue with quoting long posts that is not good in the eye.
