There's no blocked countries, and unlikely a blocked ip address problem. Chrome is the browser i've test in the most, can you make sure you're using a recent version of it?

I had the same issue a week or two ago in Chromium. I could see my balance, but couldn't connect to the game server (/play). I switched to Firefox, and Tor, and was able to get in. I think I fixed it in Chromium by logging out and back in. |

I think I fixed it in Chromium by logging out and back in.
It's quite likely that it was coincidental. When you are at /play it establishes a connection directly to the heroku instance, bypassing the CDN. When it connects to the game server, it uses a one-time-token, which is not tied to your current session and uses no cookies or anything. Not really sure what is going on though..  |

What if someone is using a VPN? Can you still detect that? Its impossible to detect VPN. Some VPN's can not hide you like you think. |

+1 with SF-Man, it's no possible to "detect" VPN (on MoneyPot side). And regarding "What a VPN hide?", it's depend on what VPN you use. If you rent an access from a provider, you give the key to the provider, and only him know what you do with your VPN (and NSA, Google, Cisco...)  |

+1 with SF-Man, it's no possible to "detect" VPN (on MoneyPot side). And regarding "What a VPN hide?", it's depend on what VPN you use. If you rent an access from a provider, you give the key to the provider, and only him know what you do with your VPN (and NSA, Google, Cisco...) None of this matters. The game doesn't care what your IP address is, so why worry about whether it can detect that you're hiding it? |

Indeed it did. I restarted it, and now looking through the logs to find out what went wrong. The game crashed during game #629687 which was predetermined to crash at 1.55x -- everyone in that round will be compensated after I fully investigate |

I put a 'out for unexpected maintenance' error. I've lost contact with my database, and can't connect, even with money pot down. It appears to be an RDS issue, even though their status dashboard shows all fine.
I will solve it as quick as I possible can. Everyone account will be safe, I have an offsite backups that is not more than a few hours old -- as well as a multi-AZ slave server.
Edit: I am once again able to connect to the database. However, I am migrating to a new RDS instance -- and will leave the site offline until that has fully completed.
Edit 2: Everyones games has already been repaired. I've been extremely generous with everyone accounts who were effected by this. Sorry for the inconvenience again.
Edit 3: Website is back up so people can see their balances and make withdrawals, however no game play will resume until db host migration is complete. Thanks for understanding
Edit 4: Site is back up on a beefier database server!
