For those interested in transparency (pretty much everyone) I have just updated the breakdown of distribution on the ABC2 OP. It isn't a perfect accounting of the coins, but it will get better over time https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=682939.0Bittzy78 (Not to be confused with a Blitzy78 who roams the Polo troll box)

We reached an historic milestone today..Thank you QBK TEAM AND COMMUNITY..We made it to the top 100 coinmarketcap..I do hope we can always provide value and service to the ALTCOIN COMMUNITY..our journey has just begun..Also I would like to extend my prayers to one of our Core Team Members Bitcoinmafia who is ill in hospital having an appendix removed..We wish her a speedy recovery.. Sorry I haven't gotten around to the pms yet because I am moving to a new house on Saturday so a bit busy packing as the house is right next to my Prent's place, which is even better for us. . I will answer all pms in the morning thanks for your patience.

Hi, I got the qibuck wallet a couple weeks back, and transferred some from Poloniex. I've not been able to sync the blockchain though. I tried multiple times, with and without the conf contents in the OP. Every time, no connections to the qibuck network. The log shows that it finds 39 IPs, but fails to connect to any. Other wallets work fine (HYP).
Any idea ? I'm guessing it tries to connect to stale nodes. Anyone has working ones ?

You can try this one maybe: addnode= 104.131.194.96

Thanks, but that's the one I've been trying from the OP. If it's still current, then I guess my problem is elsewhere...

Try to open the port manually, maybe, for some reason the router is blocking the connection to the nodes.

Thanks. Port's accessible, I just checked. In the end I actually just bit the bullet and hacked the source to hardcode that IP. It's syncing now. It seems that IP, despite trying to put it both in the config file and the command line, does not get tried... Hardcoded it in the source (src/net.cpp, ConnectNode) worked. I hope that once it's done, I can revert to the original source, we'll see. I think it should be OK, because the wallet is showing 16 connections now Thanks for the help!

AWESOME hash on the pool but we can grow it more!! LET'S DO IT!!!! Hey, very confused about how the bags work and everything... So I have at this very moment 1000QBK in windows wallet and about 800 in POLO (The QBK in polo will be sent to my wallet asap) What I am confused about is how much Interest / how much my bags are worth if I had my full 1800QBK in my wallet. Also is there any differnece in how much i would get if i have a 1000 vs 1800? Thanks! qibuck: QZVXXuqg3Rb56e54GTv3PqiUg7VFwNmHEK

Can someone tell me how to calculate mining profits with QBK multipool.
My calculation tells me if I'm mining scrypt with 3 x r9 290, which is about 2.4 MH/s, I would get 2 QBKs a day. That's far less profitable then XMR mining.
Am I wrong here?

I would be interested in an answer to this also. The multipool interface is poor in the sense it gives you no feedback on who is contributing what to the pool. i had a 82 MH/s scrypt rig pointed at it and got a payment of 9.19 QBK for shares totaling 11,551,811,904.00. the total paid out on the pool went up by circa 200 though so it would be nice to have some table with shares accumulated vs payment to x address. It is not very transparent so hard to tell if would have been better mining the most profitable coin directly, converting to btc and buying the qbk off polo.

Hi everyone. Noticed the first post had a white background on the logo which looks kind of ugly. Please use the transparent image below Cheers, looks like the coin is doing well. Regards, Albert

Ok prfitability , well that basically depends on a few factors , coins mined and what they are worth when sold, value of QBK when it is bought and also on amount of hash on the pool which the higher it is the more blocks are solved , the other day there is a post in the thread somewhere , some split there hash equally between QBK pool and i think wafflepool and when they were done there profit was better with QBK!!

If this is incorporated i will be quite happy to point my hashing power towards the pool in the future, cheers

I'd just like to get simple information on how many QBK coins can I mine per day with 2.4 MH/s pointed to scrypt, + bonuses from multipool if any. That way I can simply compare current (or average or something I expect from value etc.) value in BTC of XMR and QBK and decide. ps electricity costs are not an issue for me Thanks.

QBK scrypt multipool is currently pointed at 42 coin with a profitability of 0.00041198 BTC/day/MHs so with your 2.4 Mhs that would be about: 2.4 * 0.00041198 = 0.000988752 BTC/day the number of QBK coins would depend on the current market price of QBK which 0.000988752 BTC can buy
