thank you ghostrider for all your hard work.  I'm just some hillbilly learning how to mine and I appreciate your code-child.

you should consider putting in a -ghostriderrocks [0-100] which would direct that percentage of the mining to your project.  When you need new hardware we could just put out the call for miners to dedicate an hour to you or something like that...  count me in.  None of the coin from my AMD rig would be coming my direction, without your dedication to the project.

my humble little rig in the basement is a pair of rx580 4gb cards, and i have an r9 nano on the way to join them.  This rig is running a GTX 1070ti.

I'm just kicking myself in the backside for not getting into mining sooner...

Thanks for your support. I'm not going to release proprietary miners or those with forced donations because I don't think it's ethical. However anyone can mine to a donation address in the OP for some time to express his gratitude.

I'm in the final stages of putting together my new CUDA miner which seems to work very well for the Maxwell series and GTX 1060 / 1070. My testing 1070 delivers 1.1MH/s @ 1600/7600 hitting the TDP limit. GTX 1080 and Ti are more complicated because it looks like NVIDIA has a different memory management set up for them in the drivers which hurts performance actually. 1070 has 5 SMs less than 1080, otherwise identical GP104 with compute 6.1.

Whats the easiest way to download the improved CCminer? Always getting it blocked for virus  etc.

+ when mining I occasionally get "Pool 0 is hiding contents from us", what does this mean specifically?

+My NSGminer wildly varries from 500kh/s to 1.2mh/s with my 1070, is there some setting I am not using properly?
"setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 0
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
nsgminer.exe --neoscrypt -o stratum+tcp://pool.trezarcoin.com:6666 -u DeadmonTellEm.Main -p password -I 18 -w 128"

Is NSGminer useable with AMD cards.

I don't mine neoscrypt coins but thought I'd give it a go, unfortunately I found that I'm getting very poor hashrates with my AMD cards (don't have any Nvidia cards), question is is NSGminer, and other Neoscrypt miners, tuned for Nvidia cards and not AMD cards.

I'm just trying NSGminer on my desktop PC to see if I can get it to work.  The card is AMD R9 270, NSGminer 0.9.4, to GoByte pool.

I'm getting about 20 kh/s which seems really low, based on a few benchmark sites I looked up.  Is this right or is something wrong?

I will eventually be mining on NVIDIA 1070s, but just doing proof of concept right now.....

edit: also I notice when hitting G during execution, my GPU temp is only 53, which seems very low.  So maybe the intensity is too low, but still this wouldn't seem to account for such a low rate, unless I'm misunderstanding something.

I've an R9 270x and fiddling with the g w & I parameters I can sqeeze out just under 300 kh/s (neoscrypt), which is not that great compared to the 480 h/s I get for Cryptonote.

This is the config I used when testing VIVO mining.

Code:
setx GPU_FORCE_64BIT_PTR 1
setx GPU_MAX_HEAP_SIZE 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1
setx GPU_SINGLE_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100

nsgminer --neoscrypt -o stratum+tcp://eu.bulwarkpool.com:10000 -u <address> -p c=VIVO -g 1 -w 896 -I 18

Thanks man.  I'm not sure what it was, but mine just jumped up to 250-300k range too.  What change do you think most contributed to that?  I imagine my intensity was off, but frankly I see no difference between my video response while using the computer before or after.  (This is just a test computer, not a mining rig, so the graphics card is doing double duty for the mining and regular computer usage right now.)

Hello! I don´t want to bother you with my stupid questions maybe someone can help me.

I am really new in the mining world, just 8 days. It was difficult for me to build my rig and install everything.

I started yesterday Reading this post and today I finished.

I am mining Gobyte with CCminer in Windows 10 with MSI GTX 1070 8gb Gaming X

- NSGminer is better than CCminer for GBX mining?

- In whattomine says that 3 GTX 1070 8GB should give 3.000 kh/s but in my CMD window running CCminer says:
GPU #0: MSI GTX 1070, 913.29 kH/s
accepted: 374/378 (diff 0.091), 2757.85 kH/s yes!
GPU #1: MSI GTX 1070, 926.56 kH/s
accepted: 373/377 (diff 0.014), 2758.00 kH/s yes!
GPU #2: 1829 MHz 5194.95 H/W 178W 61C FAN 75%
accepted: 376/380 (diff 0.060), 2758.14 kH/s yes!
So, 2758 kh/s is bad, how can I improve this?

- In Uniming Pool says that the 24 hour payout is 0.26 gbx and if i see in Whattomine should be 0.35gbx, so I am loosing 30% of possible profits every day. I am right?

- In MSI afterburner, I have:
Power limit 80%
Temp limit 74°C
Core clock 0
Memory clock +500
Fan speed 75%

- Is really necessary to install the latest Bios in the motherboard?

- This is my bat file: ccminer-x64 -a neoscrypt -o stratum+tcp://pool.unimining.net:4236 -u "[--wallet--]"

Please, forgive me for such a stupid questions! Can someone help me Huh

Maybe Ghostlander, do you have a few minutes to help me? If you give me your wallet address I can send you something as a sign of gratitude

Well, thank you everybody!

I'm too am testing this out on my regular use PC, only has the R9 270x in it. I think the main improvement was the Intensity (-I); getting the WorkSize (-w) at the optimum value, I think, also help increase the hashrate, more is not always better for WorkSize.

On the optimized CC miner I get
Nvidia 1070ti: 1350 hasrate
nvidia 1060 6gb OC version: 750

nvidia 1070ti
core: +150
memory: +600

1060 6gb oc:
core: +160
memory: 750

Running on windows 10. Previously i was running ethos but it gave me worse performance than windows for neoscrypt.

--> https://imgur.com/a/7DhSi

Out of interest how many watts are your 1070 ti using under windows?  I get around 1100 with my 1070 ti's with a set power limit of 135w under linux.

Work size can be either 64 or 128. Everything else doesn't make sense or simply unsupported. Although you can put any large value in, the miner is going to reduce it to 128 automatically instead of freaking out. Nearly the same for intensity.

It is necessary to make the miner even more true by adding a level, in other words, to connect human body sensors to each mining rig, and only when a human body is connected, the mining rig can start to make a mining.

nsgminer doesn't work with altminer.net and few other yaamp/yiimp pools for month already. And seems like nobody cares.

Hello. I have problem, nsgminer is not work for many pools. For example when mine VIVO. Use the same setting, but change pool name and port only.

My settings: nsgminer --neoscrypt --gpu-platform 1 -o stratum+tcp://<pool:port> -u <wallet> -p c=VIVO -I 16 -g 1

When i use s.antminepool.com:4233 miner works good.
If i use eu1.altminer.net:4233 then miner not loading. Miner    always show empty CMD window.
What could be the problem?

It is bad. I get 1300 with my Zotac 1070. I have GPU clock +130MHz @2075 and Mem clock +620MHz @4417 with 68C temp.
I run: ccminer -a neoscrypt -i 16 -o stratum+tcp://pool.unimining.net:4236 -u xxx -p c=GBX
