Hi!

Has the issue of >90% of the hashrate being concentrated on one pool been discussed yet? (BTW, is there a way to search only in a specific thread?)

I mined for a bit on TBF, but to be honest it was a little disheartening...

No it has not. I don't really think there is anything to do about for the moment. The AMD miner only works with that pool right now.

I think Monero (XMR) is very interesting.

Don't worry, Primecoin went through the same experience with claymore and ypool.  It's just part of the process, not a BFD.  We'll have a beeeer soon enough.   Smiley

Yeah that issue seems to occur when your node doesn't have enough connectivity, so try adding some of the nodes listed by enerbyte. I think the issue is that some people are still running nodes incapable of slice sharing or they don't allow incoming connections, which also prevents slice sharing.

yes is discouraging to mine on a small pool when one pool has > 99% of hashrate but on the longterm you make the same amount of XCN

Is there someplace I can see the whole hashrate of the network over time in a graph?

I think Monero (XMR) is very interesting.

I didn't know jl777 is a coder?!
As he didn't express himself so when he offered ripple gateway for Nxt exchange early this year..

Since XCN needs only a small blockchain load each time to proceed a tx, I wish to see a lightweight browser-based wallet for better mobility purposes. Or rather it has been released and I am not informed (?)

G'day I'm new/Varg on TBF pool.

Running the wallet on Win7/64 and the backup feature says file saved but no file appears, tried different locations/name/show hidden files etc.

As a new user I found my way here pretty easily after about a day looking into bitcoin, it had everything I expected to find there but didn't. Good luck!

Yes that is a known bug. Just manually copy your wallet.dat file if you need to make a backup. Or better yet, backup your private keys using the dumpprivkey command.

seems that mining profitability even with gtx 750ti has gone.
used to have around 2800 cryptonite in 24 h mining, now it has dropped
to 1800. it was a happy time, got 50000. now let's buy some at bter.... Cheesy
