Dearest Checkcoin enthusiasts,

It's good to see you are all still around and are staying positive as we work towards the release of our product.

As some of you might have noticed at times, it has been a bit quiet on these forums and our website lately. This doesn't mean we've been sitting still...in fact our team has been working around the clock working towards the Checkcoin release in Q1 2015.

Over the last month, we have spend a lot of time traveling around and meeting interesting people spending a lot of time brainstorming about the future possibilities and functionalities of Checkcoin. Unfortunately, we have not always been able to share what's been happening behind the scenes lately. Because of this, we (Bitsend) have decided to assign one of our active community members to the role community manager. Bitsend will of course still be playing a very active part making sure our community stays up to date.

BTCcat will focus on keeping our bitcointalk forum up to date, moderating the Checkcoin community forums and staying active on other social channels. We also aim to release more updates and news on all Checkcoin related news coming directly from Bitsend. These will be posted here, on our own forums and the Checkcoin community blog on our website.
As I mentioned earlier, there is a lot of new information to share with you, but I will let BTCcat do the honors during our first weekly update scheduled to be posted later this week.

Stay tuned for more info!

Best regards,

Maurice

BitSend

This is the news of the week Smiley

Hi. Not sure if below helps you but those are my current peerconnections. I had just downloaded the wallet but never added my own config. Connection seems fine though.

Thanks guys, happy to do some work for Checkcoin.

I'm still waiting to receive some information from Bitsend and permissions on channels but I will make a post very soon after that. On the CKC forum, irc and Tumbl I will post as 'Checkbox'.

Are you guys stucked on the block 123296?

In summary, the Intel Management Engine and its applications are a backdoor with total access to and control over the rest of the PC. The ME is a threat to freedom, security, and privacy, and the libreboot project strongly recommends avoiding it entirely. Since recent versions of it can’t be removed, this means avoiding all recent generations of Intel hardware. details https://libreboot.org/faq.html#intelme --- https://tehnoetic.com/laptops --- https://store.vikings.net/x200-ryf-certfied

Someone is looking into the issue, there's not enough miners at the moment so they probably send some hash over very soon.

yes last block is 123296, no block since 18h...

When does an error like this one occur?

Got a reply from office. It looks many blocks were found in a short period of time and now the difficulty is too high to solve the next block. Someone in the end will find the next block, if it takes too long then they might speeden it up some by adding hashpower.
Keep mining miners!

Can Checkcoin be solomined?

Well yes but only if you have enough power. With low hashrates it's better to join a pool. I'm not a miner myself so I don't know at what point it becomes viable.

I don't see the settings for solomining. Can you give them? With low miningpower it is good to solomine. When there is much hashrate in the network it is better to join pools.

Below the configuration for solomining, but I need to know the rpcport.

The scrypt should be like this.

C:\sgminer\sgminer -k x11mod  -o http://127.0.0.1:?  -u username -p password

In a checkcoin.conf in the Appdata/Roaming/Checkcoin folder there should be something like this:

listen=1
daemon=1
server=1
rpcuser=user
rpcpassword=password
rpcconnect=127.0.0.1
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=?

Just need to know the ?
