You do use 'payment id' for converting XMR to other crypto, but there's no such option the other way around.

This bot has a few commands, and I'll add more soon:

• /shapeshift <currency1> <currency2> <deposit address> replies with a crypto-coin address. send <currency1> there and you'll get <currency2> on <deposit address>.
• /status <deposit address> checks the status of your transaction.
• /coins lists all available coins on ShapeShift.io.
