Just posted in the other thread, but it's good to crosspost since people seem to lack this info. There are three exchanges I use:
https://justcoin.com/
https://bx.in.th/BTC/STR/
https://poloniex.com/exchange/btc_str

Make an account on all three, gut accustomed to their policies and ways of doing business. Volume is decent on all of them, and there are great trading opportunities on each of them several times a day. Stellar is excellent for trading because it has instant transactions and almost 0 transactions fees, very easy to move manually between echanges.

What if some dark hacker makes a bot to create fb accounts,emails and simulates autoclicks?

Then all this becomes injustice, he could get hundred of thousands stellars
It won't work, newly created fb accounts are not eligible to get free stellars. The facebook account must have some friends, photos, and should not be new.

You are right at some point, but look at that: a guy (everettworth)  who has already collected 2 million stellars using "fake" accounts.
Here's an article (in russian): http://xakep.ru/news/stellars-mechanical-turk/
In common it's about he was using Amazon Mechanical Turk service to do that by
placing a task and reward for completing it.

The task was quite simple:
1. register on stellar.org;
2. verify your unique account via facebook;
3. get 6000 stellars and send them to his adress.

The reward for completing the task was 1-2$ which means he paid for it approximately from 343$ to 685$. And now 2m stellars value is 4230$, so he made profit  Smiley

There's nothing wrong with it, at least he didnt scam anyone. He just took advantage of people, which is absolutely fine.
but I think it's just very unethical and immoral.

We need more people in this world who would of just told these people that they can get $10 free by registering an account on stellar.org, instead of them giving you their $10 and you giving them $1-$2 in return.

He deserves it for being smart and getting in early. For the others he did not scam them.

Lets see whether he dumps it in time before it goes down.

Anyone else having problems with verifying mail address? At the time I registered there were obvious server time outs. It first seems to work and my profile says "okay" but after login the welcome still bothers me with two remaining actions: verify mail + send stellars. The verification code I was sent by mail does not get accepted if I try again.

Any recommendations? Thank you!

I have invested in this coin 3 days after launch and earned 300$ already. They were giving $10 worth of stellars. Large budget in my opinion. The backup of Paypal co founder makes it a tough competitior.
