Anyone else having problems with verifying mail address? At the time I registered there were obvious server time outs. It first seems to work and my profile says "okay" but after login the welcome still bothers me with two remaining actions: verify mail + send stellars. The verification code I was sent by mail does not get accepted if I try again.

Any recommendations? Thank you!

I also had this problem a week ago. You will need to verify your email using a different email address, that's it.

lol! Are you joking?

I can cash out easily without the market noticing, but I won't. As someone said this is not much, you can see 1M Stellars buy/sell orders everywhere on the https://bx.in.th/BTC/STR/ and Justcoin.com, 200.000 is changing hands every few minutes, literarily. There's a 19 BTC buy wall last night, that's somebody asking to buy 4.3 million Stellars, mind boggling.

Nice price jump in a few hours, from 435 to 480, that's > 10%!

That trace was helpful. I wasn't able to enter a new mail address in my profile, but when clicking "back" in the verify part one is able to enter a new one. I tried entering the same mail but lower case only (like to start with upper case), received a new welcome + code, and well, all went through. Guess the server time out back then wasn't helpful and left me stuck ...

Well, thx! You wouldn't mind receiving 25 Stellar, would you? Wink Tell me where to send em ... =)

It is not worth the time and effort to sign up facebook account to get stellar now.

Last time I check, they only give 250 stellar if I am not mistaken.

They give only 150. 125 as soon as you are authenticated and then when you send 25 to someone you will get that refunded by Stellar Foundation. So all in all 150.

The amount of Stellar continue to decrease as the price goes up. What if the price suddenly goes down to less than 50 sat? Are they going to increase the amount of Stellar they're giving away?

i don't think so they will give you more stellars if the price drops.they say that they will give $10 worth stellars but they give only $4 worth stellars.stellar is a "joke" they don't have fair distribution. those who made account earlier got nice amount but new user gets nothing except starter stellar lol

Not really, you will need invite code from a friend to earn additional stellars

The people behind Stellar (the so called Stellar Foundation) did not expect the huge response it got in the few days. There were many sign ups (all because of the 10/20$ worth Stellars being given free) particularly from south east asia (Indonesia, Vietnam etc). The sign ups exceeded their limit and what they expected to achieve in few months was already achieved in few days. They now have to control the market value of Stellars as well and that could probably the reason they introduced the invite code system.
