I have same problem with this pool too.  I'm connected per yacminer and can see hash rate on miner but not on pool dashboard. Im running a R9 270.  Thought I give UTC a try but guess I'm back to XMR.

What pool?

Too quiet, a strange calm right now on UTC. Seems just as the calm before the storm.  Wink

Does someone knows why the block explorer is offline since last week?  Huh
the calm before the storm  Huh Huh Huh Im worry about it

The calm before the storm, he meant that will go mainstream as now is silent in here.

Stake minting with my 350 UTC produces 0.00 UTC per blok... Sad
How much UTC I should have to make at least 0.01 UTC?

How much time have you been minting these coins? It is enough UTC to mint more than 0.00, so maybe its time what is needed here. Let them rest at least two weeks to one month. As I understand, it takes 7 days for the coins to mature and be ready for minting.

Also, check that your coins are all in one group. Many times the coins are in the same address but are organized in different groups. If a group of coins is too small (5-10 UTC), and that group is minted, it also gives 0.00 UTC. (Check the send coins tab for viewing group coins in the Group Coins button).

Hope this helps.  Grin

With respect to a simple mining solution, did you know that GuiMiner Scrypt version 5.5 supports vertcoin. Maybe somebody could update it to support UTC as well. I heard that GuiMiner can be slower, but it's a lot easier for newb to set up. No .bat required, for example. A lot of people do not like/ are afraid of, the command line

The amount is to low to stake with, is weird that you managed to hit a block.

Thanks for replying on this Bluesman75 - great advice!

I always leave coins for 2-4 weeks before attempting to stake - increases weight

Also - less than 10,000 seems to generate less than sufficient weight to stake effectively every month.  Need a few coins to get your weight up and be competitive against others staking.

I just hook up and stake every couple of months and its quick and clean.  Stakes fast and declines slowly to zero stakes after about 24hrs.

Of course if you stake all the time you are supporting the network - but I can't as I'm always travelling.

Cheers - usukan

Is anyone experiencing problems with Cryptopia recently? I can't withdraw because of incorrect 2FA (which works fine for login?!), orders can be set, but do not show up in orderbook, etc.

J

Solo is only option for now.

Pool would be nice.

UTC is so cheap now that you get more UTC by mining other coins and buy UTC.

If you have nvidia cards, I can help you, if you want mine UTC.

Just ask  Smiley

Hi,

Thanks for coming back to me.
I have nvidia cards, but my hash is about 1/1000 of the network hash, so no chance of a block. I even borrowed a 6x1080ti rig for 12 hours, and still didnt get even 1 block.
Pool is the only answer. Any particular reasons why the old pools got shutdown, or why a new pool cant be written?
J

BTW i'll take any miners/config advide you have, just incase i'm using the wrong ones

Iam using latest ccminer. For older nvidia like 750ti, I am using old cudaminer with old drivers.
You will find right settings for you rig by using auto mode.  -L 4 -l auto, try different -L values 2,3,4.

Nice you have almost same combo than me. I have win7 with this rig . Uninstall drivers using DDU uninstaller, Install nvidida 382.33 driver. Use this ccminer-x64-2.2.2-cuda7.5 for 1060 and 1030. For 750ti use cudaminer. This works best for me.
