BURST Gateway discontinued, see buyback of 1000BURST asset at Asset Exchange here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=731923.msg8566700#msg8566700

Burst

For those, who want to trade BURST, I've created the BURST Gateway at the Nxt decentralized (= trustless) Asset Exchange (AE).
(инcтpyкция нa pyccкoм здecь: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=734349.msg8449705#msg8449705)

BURST Gateway address: BURST-MCHC-LBKK-ZLZY-C3XL5

Asset Name: 1000BURST

Asset ID: 251006016744564741

Each one asset represents 1000 BURST coins.

You can check 1000BURST trading volumes here or here or here!

To buy some BURST coins (1000BURST assets) just click on one of public Nxt nodes:
    http://217.17.88.5:7876/          http://109.230.224.65:7876/
     http://vps4.nxtcrypto.org:7876/  http://vps8.nxtcrypto.org:7876/   http://nxt.ravensbloodrealms.com:7876/
     https://miasik.no-ip.org:7876/    https://162.243.145.83:7876/

and enter 251006016744564741 (1000BURST asset ID) at "Asset Exchange".

To sell your BURST coins at Asset Exchange, you should do basically the same steps as with centralised exchange:

1] Deposit your BURST coins to AE, and obtain 1000BURST asset   (click on  one of public Nxt nodes, get NXT address, and do 1] below);
2] Place sell order with your brand-new 1000BURST asset at Nxt Asset Exchange (at Nxt public node go to "Asset Exchange");
3] When somebody buy you 1000BURST asset, you'll get some NXT coins (according to your price);
4] Sell that NXT coins at https://www.cryptsy.com/ or keep them if you want.

So, 1] to get 1000BURST asset just send your BURST coins (you can change the fee to 1 BURST!) to the BURST Gateway address BURST-MCHC-LBKK-ZLZY-C3XL5 and send an Arbitrary Message containing 1) your NXT address (not in numeric, but in alpha-numeric format, like NXT-VVTV-U25N-U2FY-2V35H) and 2) Public Key ("Account Balance" -> "More info").
(I'll send 5 NXT along with a 1000BURST assets to depositors who do not have any NXT, so that they will be able to place orders and pay 1 NXT network commission)

To guarantee smooth withdrawals, the amount of the 1000BURST assets in circulation will always be less then the balance of the BURST Gateway address (BURST-MCHC-LBKK-ZLZY-C3XL5).
No sell orders from the issuing account will be placed.

To withdraw your 1000BURST assets (to convert them to BURST coins) you should transfer your assets to the issuing account (NXT-VVTV-U25N-U2FY-2V35H) _and_ in the attached message place your BURST address (not in numeric, but in alpha-numeric format, like BURST-MCHC-LBKK-ZLZY-C3XL5).

Deposit/Withdrawal time: 12 hours max., usually much faster.

Fees: currently 1% Deposits, 1% Withdrawals (subject to change).

Amount of BURST coins to deposit: minimum 1000 BURST  (subject to change)

Amount of 1000BURST assets to withdraw: minimum 1 * 1000BURST asset  (subject to change)

To trade on Asset Exchange without local Nxt client you can use one of the public Nxt nodes, or your local Nxt client.

You can get some NXT for fiat at instant automated exchange https://coinomat.com/ , or at CCEDK exchange (including North European currencies), or at p2p exchange https://nxtex.net/ (for PayPal, like at Localbitcoins). Or you can use cryptoexchanges like https://www.cryptsy.com/, https://poloniex.com/ ,  https://hitbtc.com/ , http://www.btc38.com/ , or BTer (they have 1% withdrawal fee).

Happy BURST trading!

For those who do not know: the trading at decentralized Asset Exchange is safe and trustless, because the trade occurs in a single transaction.
And Asset Exchange cannot be suspended (like DGex) or hacked (like BTer), or collapsed (like shareXcoin).

The only threat is that the issuer can refuse to withdraw. But I will not, please check my profiles at BTT (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=147961) and nxtforum (https://nxtforum.org/index.php?action=profile;u=15),
also you can check the trade volume of the similar FIMK Gateway: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=633304.msg8097620#msg8097620

Hi HDD Miners,

i don't want to ask, but i also had no burst for joining the v2 pool. Could someone send me 1- or 2 burst (BURST-NJ3K-XRD6-XFE7-DDEWF)?

Thanks  Smiley
Yes, if someone could send me 2-3 BURST coins, I'll bet I could be nice for at least 3-4 posts.   Grin

BURST-MYMR-JJN2-ZYSH-9XBTT

Sent 49 to each. (I would send more but I'm a greedy fuck  Roll Eyes)

Thank you!   Grin

I would mine solo but I started getting
Code:
{"result":"Passphrase does not match reward recipient"}
every now and then.
Any idea whats wrong? Nothing changed with the wallet, the plots are generated with the same id as the v2 pool

Remember how you had to put in your password and the pool's burst account on the http://localhost:8125/rewardassignment.html page?

Now you have to do it again but put in YOUR BURST address.  That will send another 1 BURST to assign your address to your submitted shares again.

Explain this to me again.  I have my 1.0.3 wallet with its BURST address from solo mining.  I just got the pool miner.

Now what is the proper sequence for getting the pool to send my coins to my wallet?

I put my own chosen password (not the 12 word pass phrase) in the Passphrase line, and my own wallet address in the Recipient line?

I initially set it up with the default BURST address shown several pages ago in the pool setup directions, and the other links showed I had accumulated 396 coins to be paid out, then I just checked a bit ago and it was on 0 coins, so what?  Did those coins go to the default address wallet?  How do I get them?

And do we have to have at least a coin or two to complete the registration?  I don't have any coins at all.

I was confused for a while by what you were saying, but I think I finally figured it out. You have 2 burst accounts. The passphrase you made up is a burst account. The 12 word phrase it generated for you is a second burst account. Try logging in with the passphrase you made up and you should see your coins.

Okay, got that part, but on the bottom line where I enter the BURST address, do I first enter the default address we got to set it up, then close the page, reopen it, and enter the BURST address shown in my Wallet UI screen?

I just did it with my own password (not the 12 word pass phrase, nor the long line of numbers on the shares and balance pages), and the BURST-8NZ9-X6AX-72BK-2KFM2 address.  Is that correct?

Regarding:

set reward recipient:

can I set a different password than the one the plot has been made with?

The question behind that thought is:
I have a wallet with a different passphrase for each comp and would love to use all the plots (with different passphrases) to go to one new wallet.

so eg.

the plot is generated with the passphrase: abc
yet i put at "set reward recipient" the passphrase of my new wallet which is: xyz

will that work out?

Guys i think total amount of coins is not important. Important is block reward 10k it's not much and difficulity to get coins. We have two bilions but we can mine it many years becouse of difficulity rising.

correct, Dev said v1 miners will not need to do anything, and will automatically be transferred to v2

Alright, have a v2 pool running at http://178.62.39.204:8121/
The v1 pool will be converted to v2 in a day or 2, but setting up the migration would have delayed this release, and only running that one on v2 could result in a dangerously high portion of network hashrate on one pool, so it's better to split it for now anyway.

Usage:

You will need the pocminer_pool posted previously when the v1 pool was launched: https://mega.co.nz/#!7hwHQJLZ!-waC7CwWeMStkdAwjEVbew1fN_YqeZDRWMWfCylaNPo
Reward reassignment has not been integrated into the wallet gui yet, however an extra html page was included in the 1.0.3 release that you can use. http://localhost:8125/rewardassignment.html
Below where it says set reward recipient, fill in your passphrase, and put the pool's burst- address where it says recipient, and submit. This will have a fee of 1 Burst. It should come up with a page of a bunch of details you won't care about if everything is good.
Once the transaction is in a valid block + 3 confirms, you should be able to use the pool. You can check the users list on the pool to make sure that your numerical account id is there(your generate address)
Edit the pool's ip/port into the run_mine file for pocminer_pool.
Rename or move your passphrases.txt file, since pocminer_pool will try to solo instead if it sees a correct passphrase for those plots.

Starting target deadline is 75k
PPLNS
When your balance hits 500 burst you get paid.

All users who have not upgraded to 1.0.3 are now on a bad fork

V2 Pool allows you to mine with your solo plots. You do NOT have to regenerate plots if you have solo plots. v1 pool users can keep mining without doing anything. the v1 -> v2 migration for v1 pool users will be transparent to them, and not require them to do anything.
I feel like we should re-post this every couple pages...
