We need more votes to get listed on cryptsy.
Addition to voting, I suggest everyone writes to cryptsy through their support and asks for adding XMG, that will be more effective in my view. You mean by email? Or twitter? Or both? After login, there is option to submit support ticket.

Patience, new developments, great active dev and community will bring Magi to the top of the world of digital currency! XMG already on 10 exchanges. Time to get Magi on Cryptsy! Keep on voting!
Ten exchanges, yes, but only six are worth bothering about. Three have no volume and one are just a bunch of crooks who stole my money i.e. Betasharex. I raised a support ticket. My money never appeared and they closed the support ticket without doing anything about it. Like I said - a bunch of crooks - and I would like them to be removed from the list of exchanges on the OP. I should add that they refer to XMG as Cryptomagi - ugh.

I'm sending every ten days half of my coins to another wallet, returning them back in parts of 500 XMG. Until last week this resulted in continuous staking of around the 1000 XMG. (weight around 100000) Since the new miners (?) I get most of the time a staking value of less then 200. (weight around 80000) What is wrong or different? When I use 8 of 8 core with cpu mining, staking is none. How can the miner have such an influence on the staking?

Answer: The miner has no influence on wallet staking whatsoever. I have several machines running the miner (fully loaded) and wallet together with no such issues. I run the miner at low priority and the wallet at normal priority under Windows. I will be posting up the results of my staking experiment soon, but essentially my wallet(s) are staking continuously and mining POS rewards three or four times an hour with the miner running flat out.

Bunch of crooks mate. I only lost 68 XMG which I will not be losing any sleep over. I'm glad that was all I sent as a "tester".

I run the miner at low priority and the wallet at normal priority under Windows.
How do I set the priority in Windows? Two ways: Use Task Manager to alter the priority of a running process. Use DOS command start /low or /normal or /belownormal or /abovenormal or even /high etc to start a process at a given priority.

In addition to dev's VPS/Debian guide, can someone put an AWS/Ubuntu copy-paste guide as well?

Compiling on Ubuntu should be exactly same as on Debian. Let us know where you stuck?

What is the difference? If you have Ubuntu you can compile miners from source as in OP's guude. I never used AWS, but i have 3 different VPS providers and 2 local GPU/CPU miners (OS is Ubuntu 14.04 LTS), they all do XMG hashes.

How to add password to the wallet in ubuntu, encryptwallet <passphrase>? Will it affect POS/POW for pool operation if encrypted? I am testing in setting up a pool for fun.

Yes, that's right; never tried on pool, I think no effect; but you have to unlock to enable PoS.
