Will the Magi android app include a staking feature ? In that case it will be a really nice feature that most of the other coins' app do not have ! Also, tell me, who is the dev of this app ? I doubt it. I was told a staking feature for an Android wallet is nearly impossible as you need to download the whole blockchain in order to mint. Usually Android wallets only load a short version of the chain, similar to Electrum wallets (due to file size/necessary disk space on the phone).

We have a number of exchanges in China to work with, while I am yet to see an appropriate time to carry it on.

Good question! Many things. Read the OP and you find the information about the unique blockreward system, First POS-II, MQW and much more. Any specific questions? You are welcome to ask.

Let me make you a summary: - CPU-only coin mostly because if hashrate increases a lot the network reward decreases. That also denies botnet mining. - PoS-II, nice reward even if you have low balance. - Hybrid coin, if PoW ends to be CPU-only coin then don't worry because PoS will still be available. - Nice community which helps you in a long-term investment.

If I'd have to choose for the next exchange for Magi, I'd choose YoBit. The only BTC I earn are from them, so if Magi comes to go on it, I could buy a few XMG daily !

Why is this coin special? Its a normal altcoin
I thought it was not, but now I think of that magi wasn't get pumped and hence no much disappointing & complaining around is nice. I am proud of the fact that (mostly) all posts are nice; it is really fun to read posts starting from page 1. I did personally wished that the coin gets pumped initially, but now I am more convinced that wasn't a good idea. To get high levels, all or most of altcoins have to be pumped, and they are done already; this is a fact in this crypto scene which, however, won't allow much room to fill the needs of that many coins. People would rarely put trusts into either of them due the pump & dump which is rather an unavoidable consequence in the most cases. There is really much fun here; though people come and go and you never know who they are by the name they claim to be, there are some people the others can find around as always. After speaking of that, magi is truly an altcoin, and specs things more than special beside those inherited from bitcoin, but you might find some interesting things by that. Basically we don't need to claim very big inventions, but need to get those basic points on the track, and those basic points would be something big; well this is tough though, but I think magi is interesting in this aspect (don't ask me what is that, sorry, would be bit "tough" question). Either way I'd rather put out some big things that make big attraction to people and make them believe in something, and that might end up disappointing in the last; research it a bit on your own does help. Let me make you a summary:
- CPU-only coin mostly because if hashrate increases a lot the network reward decreases. That also denies botnet mining. - PoS-II, nice reward even if you have low balance. - Hybrid coin, if PoW ends to be CPU-only coin then don't worry because PoS will still be available. - Nice community which helps you in a long-term investment.
Nice summary, thanks.

If you order by number of posts in the alt coin announcement - you'll see that Magi is the 25th most popular coin (19th in terms of views, suggesting there is also a lot of inactive members also reading the posts) - and most of the coins that are higher in ranking have been around for quite a bit longer than Magi. Some other highly capitalised coins/shares have virtually no community. Some in the top 10 on coin market cap have only around 50 pages and still use bitcointalk as their main communication channel.

One of the things that make Coin Magi unique is that it is very resistant to ASICs and GPUs. That makes my life easier than having to purchase an ASIC or set up a GPU mining rig and compete with other's hashrate. With Magi's unique block reward, it gives control and flexibility to the rewards that you could earn by mining on a CPU. Therefore, that's why I chose Magi as my top CPU mining coin. I mine it everyday!

Thats really cool Starmman. I did not know Magi was in the top 25 of most populair coins! Thats awesome and nice to know!
Moreover, 9-10 of the threads above Magi didn't have a post added for a month or more so can be classed as inactive (although, they could have threads started elsewhere - didn't look that far), and one more post will level Magi with Earthcoin at position 24 =)

It is amazing that we get that far. I concerned getting more than 100 pages; getting that was one of the supports asking Bittrex to add us into their exchange list to evidence the popularity; now more than 500 pages. And I think it would never be the case of closing up this thread and opening up a NEW self-moderated thread as some others did that is almost like a suicide.

The important thing is that those 500 pages are useful, not like some recent coins (like Botcoin which ended up in a scam btw) that had 100 pages in a day because of some flooders.

Maybe the ranking and number of page views here will prove a useful tool in negotiation getting adopted by some more popular exchanges which don't offer a large number of alts
