Magi had the issue with the large miners before.
They are trying to frustrate other miners.
If smaller miners don't give up they will leave. Its the competition in the crypto-world!
Keep up the good work. Magi team is looking into the options to this issue, like we did before. Proof of mining. As you all know Magi team & community are very strong.
Magi never gives up!💪
Not sure if having roughly 200-250 kh/s makes me a big miner, but I had some profit with that in past, like 10-25 coins/day.
Their price was 4-5 times lower but still there was at least a reason to mine. With current 0.1 XMG/day I prefer to miss the party because even if XMG will grow up to $10 it's nothing.
But you realize that current price level keeps for only reason right? Transfers to exchanges are blocked.
No offence here Magi Team - I'm just being fair.

I just stopped mining. It's not worth it... sry too much hash power by whales
Same here Roll Eyes
Maybe I'm already a whale - with 4770 and 1700X, not sure.

Looking for a place to mine Magi?
Come to https://cryptotastic.net!!!
Not only are we a mining pool, I am trying build a fun community through Discord
https://discord.gg/PxCv68R

!!!Be Warned!!!
You must keep your total hash speed per wallet below 250 kh/s.
And preferably at approximately 128 kh/s
I believe that all cpu miners allow you to limit how much cpu you are using per running session.
Either by overall cpu% or by number of threads(cores) and which ones to use per wallet session.
Need help configuring your miner, come to the discord channel and we will give you a hand.

We will not tolerate farms mining Magi.
You will be banned and your earning confiscated and restributed.

Not bad idea but you need to have some calculator of mid hash per user in intervals of 2 hours bc readings of the pool variate you cant ban someone bc of false reading at that moment, i was one of the guys who monitored 8 hours per day pom pool over the summer 2015 and it was loads of work i was checking hash every 5 mins, and calculated mid hash over interval of 2 hours per user.
If you have experience in coding you will be better to automate that process. Good luck Smiley

I'm currently looking into maybe Aeon

not sure yet i'm not a expert at this. but its price is way higher then magi's (if i'm understanding it right)
Aeon $8 something
Magi almost $2

currently looking at this http://cpucoinlist.com/  seems to be out of date no magi (wonder if they are trying to say something?)

its all well and good for theses other ppl to say "Just buy it" for starters to buy it here in Australia is like double the price.
Plus i don't always spare cash to buy it
Plus I've only found cash to bitcoin converters that have a min of $30 USD
Plus not alot of ppl have Credit cards. None of them use Paypal, etc.

Sorry but this coin isnt for the little ppl anymore and the dev's havent done something about it. they have not commented in on the conversations at all!!! Nor are they trying to ease the conversation about the whalers, etc. Theres been many ppl especially me asking the pool owners and the dev's to speak up and none of them have. They obviously dont care cos they are getting the money for all the transactions a perfect picture of greed at its best.

the only ppl who have spoken are the whalers them selves or ppl who have money to waste.

If you dont like the truth, i dont care just like the whalers. The truth hurts and that should make you care and do something about the whalers.

Not as hard to do something as some ppl have said it to be. i'm a software developer for solar inverters and charge controllers. I've done things ppl said it was impossible to do.

its just a matter of using your brain. Once you do that nothing is impossible theres always ways to do something if you truly and deeply try

New POM could make a difference by spreading more fairly mined coins at least for short period of time. I don't know why no one made multipool yet
it was best source of getting magi while staying profitable easy way into wallets of ppl who are not traders but starting in crypto especially in times like this when net hash was too high.

There is over 4mil xmgs on bittrex trading right now so new transfers from ppl that are new in magi and don't have bunch of xmgs on bittrex already, is insignificant. Since last 30 days there is only around 15k xmgs extracted and half of that where orphaned blocks i don't think that amount could make any difference price wise.  Magi is doing fine still undervalued imho.

Only thing as a quick fix to have proof of mining working fairly is to have 1 pool owned by devs so they can control mining per user and kill public pools and solo mining but that would go against fair decentralization. Another thing is what DMD did they only have multipool dmd mining now with staking and masternodes as an extraction and it is working well for them while miners mining with profit and bringing price up so everyone is happy.

I see alot of posts of whales with massive hash. The coin only have a mcap of 10 mil usd and is old, so dont see how a massive hash can give alot of profit?
Unless they get all the reward alone off course, and the rewards seemed to be higher than normal due to diff retargeting.

@Jeremy450 Thanks for that link with CPU coins.

Those whales mentioned in previous posts probably work in datacenters, employ unused CPU's and don't give a crap 'bout the payout cause they don't even pay for the electricity;

After a while ago, before the first "problem" couple of months ago, there were also miners with big hash power, but nobody cared since the small miners were also making good profits; but with these earnings it's ridiculous ...
I have employed 14 CPU's (not virtual cores, but physical CPU's) in order to earn that ~0.28xmg , and I don't even want to do the math on electr.  Smiley

to be honest its utter pointless trying to mine. Cant even try throwing a few cows in it wont make milk shake to scare off all the whalers.

but really the "Important" people haven't even commented in and to me that shows total disrespect to the community and for the coin

Many times passed and people still crying about big hashers Smiley)

If you want "wales"  leave coin - just do it less profitable than other cpu based coins (neoscrypt, yescript etc)..

Correct blockvalue always lower , then big hashers leave this coin and small one can get some reward.

Sorry mate the way the network is there no point in mining.

at the moment the coin is dying with payouts getting less and less to the point where you can throw unicorns at it and get dust in return.

1800kh for 1xmg. i could sell my toe nail clippings and get more then 1xmg

As i said the "important" people are hiding and doing nothing. no speaking, nothing. they aren't being proud and aren't being respectful to the community.

All they can see is $$ cos they are the winners with all the transaction fees they get and us little people are the losers.

Whatever you might say, at this rate it becomes pointless for small miners; I really like this coin and I've been involved since the first day, but things have changed a lot ever since... I've tried mining it for a day with ~400kh/s and all i got is 0.28xmg , so i guess it's really time to move on...  Sad
Any suggestion for a good CPU coin ??

Well it's pointless for the whales at this reward level too... right?!

Whales are not going to waste hashes on super small rewards for very long.  It would make a lot more money for a whale to switch to Monero at this point.  And it will happen.  Be patient.

theses whale ppl dont care they are earning up to 3 - 5xmg a day.

worse thing is some of the whales are ppl in this very xmg forum!!!!!!!!

that what pisses me off the most!!

while we little ppl are barely earning 0.2xmg a day

the coin has been killed and no one is doing anything about it.

time to find another cpu coin

LOL. 0.2XMG little? You've got to be kidding me. I'm getting 0.04XMG in total for the last 14 hours of work.

i was just doing average amount. to me its totally unfair on ppl who have a much lower hashrate. its criminal.

What gets me even more pissed is the "Important" people will reply to mundane comments about pools opening but wont talk to other ppl or tell the community whats going on or how they are looking into it or how they are thinking of ways to solve the issue, etc. Instead they let the ppl with money or who are part of the cause speak and say us little ppl should do this or that.

that's POOR community spirit dude
