Could we please get en ETA for the beta release guys? Would be good to know.
KeyOS "alpha" is working and in the wild now and being tested by a few people. It's still rough and we were advised by testers to release more of a complete polished project for an initial release. Right now its like an entire page of instructions to get it running properly, related to encrypted persistent disk partitions. We'll finish a more polished version and release it as a beta within the next week. If you're linux savvy and would like to test the alpha, please PM the keycoin dev account.

All the FUD and spam was incredibly distracting indeed. Now the focus can be on making things better rather than trying to recover from both lost time and money invested.
I do have a few ideas to make things better, but will post when I have thought it out more and also after seeing the OS and trading tools.
For now, a few suggestions: 1. Update link on website to point to this thread instead of the old one 2. Include Dan Metcalf's review of the dev team and anon code somewhere on the website 3. Also include the news article/interview
I think at this point, anything that can rebuild and gain trust in keycoin would be helpful. Obviously, releasing the OS will help that alot, but the small things count too.
+1 I agree that website updates are important. People go there frequently looking for news updates. Important message board updates & new press releases could easily be added. Adding a tweeter feed would also be beneficial. Especially on the home page.

Key Trader v1.34 beta is now completed. This is our release for public use. The windows version beta is complete, we will have Linux and Mac versions coming soon.
It allows you to easily place spread buy and sell orders, by different technique parameters.
Download it here: http://goo.gl/NUEFjH
Keytrader allows you to place buy or sell spreads for any coin on Bittrex, and cancel orders, and gives you a cancel all button. (!)
Keytrader requires that you have 100 KEY in your account.
Here is a tutorial video created by KeyTrader's programmer. It's a bit rough so we'll have the programmer give us the text in plain or make a video with voice narration. The program is pretty self-explanatory without the tutorial.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JFHz7I0dHcg&feature=youtu.be
Thanks to our followers for the support, and we will continue to deliver.
Writeup from our KeyTrader programmer: KeyTrader v1.34 betaQuick doc Api Key Requirements: Data and Limit Trades (only)
KeyTrader was designed to allow users to trade Keycoin along with any other coins on Bittrex.com. One of the most time-consuming processes of placing orders is placing them as spreads so as to reduce risk of calling bottoms and tops during swings or long plays.
KeyTrader utilizes 3 trade templates for buys and sells. Top Heavy, Bottom Heavy, and Balanced. For instance if you call a top price at 200k sats for your play.. and are only somewhat confident, you will choose balanced and place your HIGH @ 200k and LOW @ perhaps 175k pending swing range or other chart indicators at your discretion.
The interface uses auto-calculation which is triggered by changing parameters or numeric fields. Any adjustments to your order settings should be recalculated and reflected in all fields.
The Order cancellation tab is very straight forward.. You may use ctrl+click or shift+click to select multiple orders for cancellation.. or you may use the long-awaited Cancel All! button to cancel all orders.
This application runs on a 12.5 second timer which updates ticker information which appears in the title bar along with balance information and order information. This timer is temporarily disabled while the Order List Box is 'in focus' to allow you to cancel orders without having to worry about your selection being removed after a refresh. Timer resumes upon Order Listbox losing focus.
If you cancel orders.. or place orders.. and they do not appear in the order listbox immediately please either wait 12 seconds or hit the refresh button. Also, in times of high trade volumes on Bittrex, order cancellations may be slow, so please wait, they do work. It could take as much as a minute for an order to cancel, but it should take 12 - 24 seconds to reflect the changes in the Order Tab.

Thanks for the heads up! Just bought some. It's been so hard as of late knowing what to buy into because of all the FUD gang manipulation.

We're the real deal here. Despite the fud gangs we're delivering what we promised. Perhaps a bit late due to what we've recently dealt with. It will all be delivered however. SO nice getting work done instead of dealing with malevolent groups. This app is kick ass!

There are a couple small issues in the app we're having the programmer resolve right now.
It's very useful though. I'm using it to cancel orders instead of clicking through a few menus on bittrex.

Nice release!
I bet the Fudders are secretly buying more right now. So shameless. I genuinely feel bad for people who sold at a loss due to the drama they caused. But oh well, at least all that is behind us. This new moderated thread is indeed a great idea. I'm sure everyone in this forum, not just keycoin supporters, are sick and tired of seeing pages of crap posts in a thread. This will clean things up a lot and likely set a new standard for coin threads

Surprisingly, I haven't had to delete or moderate ANYTHING at all. Wish we did this a week ago, sorry.

100 Key seems like a VERY small requirement to use the software.
I don't see that helping the coin as much as it could.
Perhaps raise it?

I have a question. When I place a sell order for MAX, I am unable to cancel my orders from the UI. I need to do so from the exchange site. I assume this may be caused by not having 100 KEY available for trading once they are all placed? If so, it would be nice to at least be able to cancel an order in this case to unlock the ability to trade. Not sure if it is just me, but this would help with the concept of trading without an exchange.

You realize there are only 950k keycoins available right? That's a maximum of 9500 people using the app, don't forget that it's not evenly distributed by 100.
