Is everything ok with the network?  I woke up this morning to a lot of orphan blocks.  It is a first.  Did we fork?

i woke up to a stack of new found blocks, clean and shiny.
just check your chain against BE:
https://chainz.cryptoid.info/j/

I appear to be on the right block height - but I woke up to (23) generated but not accepted blocks.  It is the first time it ever happened.  I will keep mining and see if it fixes itself.  I am mining the quark algo.

maybe it's a stupid assumption, but are u sure your wallet is in quark mode ?
restart may help anyway

Yes it is in Quark mode.  I am now resynching the blockchain.

next stupid assumption is wrong system clock, it certainly can cause orphans in hybrid coins, maybe pure pow as well

Hrmmm - checked and clock is good.  Blockchain just downloaded and mining started again.  I will give it some time and see if it fixes itself.

Try to access mega from other browser and don't use any adblockers or you can download joincoin-1.3 windows wallet from dropbox:

I'm attempting to mine this coin, however, whenever I try to run ccminer I don't get accepted or rejected shares from the wallet, why is this?

I buy private Nvidia miners. Send information and/or inquiries to my PM box.

Tpruvot and SP CCminer. Neither of them work. I tried pentablake and quark.

I turned on gen=1 and the CCMiner started submitting good shares and even found a block.

Code:
gen=0
listen=1
daemon=1
server=1
rpcuser=yourname
rpcpassword=x
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcallowip=192.168.0.*
rpcport=9150
rpcconnect=127.0.0.1
algo=quark
addnode=53zy47p5wly5penk.onion:17941
addnode=drtevq326tweby2k.onion:17941
addnode=fmrybmbxvjjt4s5r.onion:17941
addnode=sjriwx4jzbwcraqu.onion:17941
addnode=z5d33i6hzc7635ua.onion:17941
addnode=valsolykxzvst7hq.onion:17941
addnode=nwfxztwdxozmftjf.onion:17941
addnode=qi5bwpltymrihchw.onion:17941

Code:
timeout /t 30
ccminer.exe -a quark -o http://192.168.0.99:9150 -u yourname -p x
pause

Also curious bit about this coin. Are rewards broken down per algo or they all grouped together? As in hashrate is converted to a raw number and that's deposited in the pool or each algo functions as it's own coin essentially for the purpose of mining and has its own reward pool?

Is there anywhere to see the net hashrate for each algo? I found the difficulty with getmininginfo, but not more then that.

Edit: It looks like it will submit a share it just takes a reallllllly long time. We're talking about 15 minutes per work accept/reject message.

That's normal?

GETMININGINFO--

In the console window of the debug tab, type and enter the command "getmininginfo".  This will get the mining difficulties for all the different algos accepted by the wallet.  For mining difficulties greater than 1, the accept/reject period will likely be several minutes, or longer.  I have 2 solo-mined JoinCoins using Whirlpool algo and a couple hours mining with one GTX 960.  Whirlpool is not Whirlpoolx, it is little faster than Qubit on my 960 with CCminer.  CCminer syntax is "-a whirl".  Whirlpoolx won't work on JoinCoin.

As I understand it, the block notices you receive from a pool on stratum are not received when mining with the wallet via http.  You just see the polled hashrate report, and the accept/reject notices.

Block notices pop up with Tpruvot ccminer and not SP.

Accepts/rejects take a long time. I'm mining with five 970s as well. I suppose I should point that out.

Yeah something isn't working. I found one block in a hour mining quark with five 970s...
