hi halcyondev.
* What developments have ?
* DEVELOPMENTS you tell a shop what Situation ?
Ty.
#HALCYONDEV - I ASKED.
Not sure you can call it a dump with such a low volume. There's simply no buy support at all, so the price naturally falls. But this is far from being the only coin in this case. Even coins with active dev's like KEY are dumped to oblivion and have no buy support. Each new month is worse than the previous one since july. It's probably to all the BTC recent volatility, where the whales are now playing.
halcyon's dev not posting for 1 week doesn't help thought.
Yes it is the problem. Only maybe 5% of coins last for more than a month lately (2 weeks?) because the market wants "new new new" then fud about "why new coin?" in new coin threads HAL investors were waiting on MintPal for big push in HAL price, they PM me on Twitter. Mintpal dies and they lose interest in HAL, this is the real reason for the price drop, not a forum thread. I paid for the payment gateway in HAL and while the price has dropped the programmer has been slower to respond it is the backbone for the Store but only 2 people have expressed any real interest in the store HAL anon works well and I pay for the servers. Paying rewards with increased POS payment for masternode is not something the coin core likes any and it is 4 weeks of work for me so far and nobody has even PM me any more about running masternodes. The question is what to do now? Store will be released when gateway is finished, we will see the interest. This is still the latest news. The gateway is half-alive and some work is done but not enough to be functional. The contracted worker has been hard to get a hold of and I have been tired of it! I'll come to check and update but I dont hear enough. I will update again sooner with the news. I feel like nobody cares for the store except 2 users in PM which expressed interest, they just wait for pump. I worked hard for site and anonymous sending transactions and investors sell everything because they want more pump! Oh not enough! It's stupid. I will update when i hear from the programmer contracted for the payment gateway. Same. It doesn't change day to day. I wait to hear from the programmer for the gateway. The API is up at http://nootropics.halcyon.pw but it's not complete. You can't be so ignorant for something you worked on for so long, unless you yourself want it to die. If store cant be up right now then bring on something else, work on something new. Be enthusiastic about your own project. The community still has a vision for this coin, but it has to start with you, we can only contribute..

I talked to 2 reputable devs with 1+ year of crypto development experience. One didn't respond, another said he can help if there is a strong community support. He can do a hard fork of HAL resuming PoW mining and increasing PoS interest rate. Maybe a few more things according to what the community suggests.

It's not easy to takeover without very strong community, I saw some coin was takeover and but no result after that becasue community left already that coin.

My dev is doing a code review of the open source wallet and found a serious bug already. It was quite easy to spot actually. I think no one experienced did a code review of this wallet before. All these talks of Dan Metcalf reviewing something are just bullshit.

Dan did so-called review: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=741728.msg8723167#msg8723167But still bullcrap if you go back and re-read it. Draw you own conclusions. Note that review posted at end of the pump. Guess that enough saw through it and left it to bagholders and suckers. I am the latter, but did cut my losses upon the dev's disappearing act about a month ago. And what serious coin has a nootropic store? What was I thinking? Good luck everyone and hope I am wrong.

There is nothing to cut. This coin is worth nearly nothing now thanks to the dev doing nothing for 2 months. We can take over and work together on making this coin interesting.

I thought the Peersend wallet Dan supposedly reviewed was closed source yet. Is the open source one on the Github perhaps the old one?

My dev is working on the wallet cleaning it up and patching up. I think it will be ready for release by the end of month. How much time do we all need between a release date and a hard fork switch to the new wallet? I heard Cryptsy is slow to catch up. Don't know about Bittrex. Also need to get some pools onboard.

I think bittrex should take some responsibility for this coin. We can write to ocminer, he'll help.
