No, I can't beat this player yet. I won around 0.01 BTC several times wagering around 100 satoshis on 9900x payout, and I won 0.17 once, two years ago, in a poker tournament with 0.01 BTC buy-in, but never more than that.

Maybe because I try to not risk a lot(that poker ticket was given to me for free, I would never buy a 0.01 ticket), low limits is not a problem for me personally, but I understand that it can be for those who prefer to be among the high rollers.

Video Poker is my fav game to play on Crypto-Games. With over 7,000 games played I'd hit Straight Flush several times, but never Royal Flush(500x payout). But some players do hit it, as I can see from the stats. Like this one in particular, Sunshine, who hit it two times less than a year ago, winning almost 0.24 BTC altogether from the two wins:

I am not very familiar with this contest, but I think that as you win contests the more you are going to be on the top places.
It is something like investing the rewards again and again and winning more. Leaderboard is kind of the same with winners of the past month for this reason. They do a re-investing strategy into wagering contest.
