you are serious ? 2 coin per block  in scrypt ? Total amount 10 million , it would be hard to mine.
Prémine 0.5 % = 500 000  Undecided Undecided Undecided
No thinks !

Small correction, premine ( 0.5% of 10 million ) = 50 000 or 5 000 for 0.05% Smiley

The purpose of this altcoin is to not have a purpose? I'm confused!

It has a purpose. But there is not plan for it. Everyone can take ownership of the coin if they want it to succeed. So many people here want the developer to come up with great new ideas for the coin and when the developer fails or decides not to work on the coin any more it tanks from a high value and then burns a lot of people so nobody wants the coin.

This coin will be priced based on knowing there are no plans for the coin so if people accept the coin and build on the coin the value will grow steadily. This could be a sustained coin for long term growth. I obliviously can not control trading but everyone will know the situation and it should be a nice steady growth as things are added and not burn all the investors.

You need to 1 check OP again and 2 check your math. It is .05% of total coins or .5% of the first year. I broke it down for people to see. It is 5760 coins.

Yes 2 coins per block how much BTC comes out per block? This is meant for long steady sustained growth. Not to be just dumped on the market by miners.

dev, can you write an autogen.sh and configure.ac for centos?

https://github.com/dogecoin/dogecoin/blob/master/configure.ac

https://github.com/dogecoin/dogecoin/blob/master/autogen.sh

^ this is what i mean. CentOS installs are difficult sometimes, this will help exchanges and pools running CentOS

this is what auto-install looks like after those are complete:

https://gist.github.com/patricklodder/c7c067cc831f0d3190c2#file-build-dogecoin-sh

Trader coin is based off of bitcoin 0.9 and uses the new build system including those files

tomcat, please tell me what these lines should read like for configure.ac file:

9 AC_INIT([Dogecoin Core],[_CLIENT_VERSION_MAJOR._CLIENT_VERSION_MINOR._CLIENT_VERSION_REVISION],[info@dogecoin.com],[dogecoin])

476 AC_ARG_WITH([daemon],
477  [AS_HELP_STRING([--with-daemon],
478  [with daemon (default is yes)])],
479  [build_dogecoind=$withval],
480  [build_dogecoind=yes])

518 AC_MSG_CHECKING([whether to build dogecoind])
519 AM_CONDITIONAL([BUILD_BITCOIND], [test x$build_dogecoind = xyes])
520 AC_MSG_RESULT($build_dogecoind)

669 if test "x$use_tests$build_dogecoind$use_qt" = "xnonono"; then

just not sure what daemon is called and dont want to write it wrong.

Because I wanted a coin that can be mined. I wanted to involve the ASIC owners too so that is why it is scrypt.
